I am going blind the doctors are telling me I don't have much vision left I feel alone and lost I keep dropping things I feel like a burden on the people around so I stay to myself and I feel confused I don't no where this is taking me but thank you for putting this video up it's good to here from people who went through it saying it can get better thank you
Bless your heart. I've just seen your comment. I know it's easy for me to say, but please don't feel a burden on anyone around you. Do reach out to someone you trust and let them know how you feel. I really empathise with where you are in your sight lost journey, but please don't struggle alone. I'm more than happy to catch up with you office platform if that would help? X
How nice! I have a tiny George Forman grill that i love, and I've considered upgrading to a larger one. Let us know how you like yours.
Smiles, I've used it three times now and absolutely love it. I've cooked sausages on it and also steak. I find it so easy to clean and not only is it the healthier option, it's a lot faster and safer for me. I'm enjoying it so much. X
We use our flat griddle for pancake stacks! Since they can cook together you don't have to put up with a cold one on the bottom and a lukewarm one in the middle!
I subscribed immediately, I knew you were going to say something beautiful
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Welcome to my channel. Great to have you here.
This seems awesome!!
If i could, I'd cook him a nice rare steak, some steamed white rice.
Oh, I saw your video about your dogs birthday. How cute my dog birthday is June 14.
Happy birthday to your lovely little doggy for 14th June.
Happy birthday Marty
Happy birthday Marty from me and my guide Maui! Enjoy some new toys and treats
Happy birthday little guy from guide pup Bodhi!
Happy Birthday sweet Marty!!!! 🎉❤
Happy birthday Marty. Another year of being a good dog
Happy Birthday to your partner in crime! xx
Oh Marty, as if she would be so mean to you! lol
Oh my goodness I love him!
Of course I smell lovely, it’s because I’m a super dog 🐕
Where's my meaty stick 😂
What an inspiring story. I have been blind my entire lif, so have no idea what it is like to see. I can only imagine how scary it must have been to wake up with no vision. I’m glad you had people to support you on your journey to independence
Thank you so much for your uplifting and lovely comment. Appreciate it very much. Also thank you for sharing your story. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
😊
I read research that even artificial plants have benefits for humans.
That's really interesting. 😊
It looks lovely! I'm terrible at keeping plants alive too. We bought a frail supermarket parsley plant for 96p thinking it wouldn't last long but our rabbit would enjoy it whilst it lasted but over a year on it's still here and thriving!
Beautiful! There's also an online company called Bloom who do fake flowers and plants which are really realistic. Even down to it looking like there is water in the vase. My mum had several from them and you wouldn't have known they weren't real cut flowers
oh yeah, fake plants are blessing for me too! i always forget to water my plants, and they end up pretty bad... you are wonderful! you earned a new sub:)
That's so sweet of you. Thank you so much. I'm glad I'm not the only one who kills plants. Ha ha ha.
Maybe you haven't found your right plant yet ? I always end up killing orchids but my succulents plants seem to like me... I am not blind but maybe some succulents and cacti (without thorns lol) could be fun to touch, and certainly more resilient to be handled...
What a good shout. Thank you so much for your comment. I will definitely get my thinking cap on because it would be lovely to have some nature come into my house but something that I can easily keep without killing it. 🤣

I am definitely going to shop around to see what fun things I can find that I won't end up killing or the plants end up dying because I'm just so terrible at looking after them. Lol. Maybe it's just another thing for me to have to dust now. My lovely little fake orchid. I should really have a name for her. Maybe Allie the orchid. Smile.
your voice is lovely!!!
Bless your heart, thank you so much for this lovely comment. I hope you are well.
This might be a dumb question, but how do we know what is with the flowers?
Hey, thanks so much for your comment. I'm not sure what you mean. I purchased a fake orchid plant earlier because I'm useless at actually keeping the real thing alive. Smiley face. I definitely wish I was better with plants and flowers because I love them. However, the fake ones will do for now. Ha ha. I hope you are keeping well.
@@BlindGirlVlogs Sorry auto correct got me. No, no... I am wondering, since you are unable to see how you did, would you select it or even a live flower? Is it all sensory or an assist from family? I ask because you described it so I wasn't sure.
The orchid is beautiful! I'm definitely not a green thumb either.. don't feel bad. =)
I absolutely love the sensory feeling of real plants and flowers, the smell, just being amongst nature but I'm absolutely useless when it comes to taking care of them myself. However, I do like to have lovely things around the house but I can feel and appreciate. I would love to be a little more hands-on in the garden. Plus having a few plants around the house but I end up just killing them. Sadly. Hope you are all well. Xx
@@BlindGirlVlogs You're not alone. I do the same thing. Maybe a less needy plant would be good for us both. =)
@@mamaK648 i'm definitely going to be looking around for a easy plant to start off with. I just like the idea of having something tactile in my house. I'm going to see what's available with minimal effort and something that won't simply die if I fail to water it or talk to it. Ha ha ha.
@BlindGirlVlogs I think I'll do that same. The tactile/sensory addition would be nice I'm sure.. it's an idea for blind/low vision I wouldn't have thought of. 🩷
Anyone talking about the makeup?
why would we?
We have to try this.. sounds really yummy!
It really is delicious. Now if you obviously wanted to make other combinations like double chocolate chip muffins you would simply just need to add chocolate chips and some chocolate cocoa powder to taste. With regards to the coffee and walnut muffins, just boil water and then put instant coffee granules mix it up and then measure it out according to the recipe and leave it to cool down before mixing it into the ingredients if that makes sense and then instead of the blueberries just add the walnuts, into it breaking them up. You can definitely mix and match, but the bulk of the recipe is the same. Xx
@@BlindGirlVlogs I will have to try multiple combinations! Thanks for the ideas and tips. 🩷🌈
If anyone is looking for the carrot cake muffin recipe, please find it below: Here's a really simple carrot cake muffin recipe using metric measurements: Ingredients: - 250g carrots, peeled and grated - 250g self-raising flour - 175g soft light brown sugar - 1 tsp ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp mixed spice - 2 large eggs, beaten - 75ml vegetable oil and 75ml water. Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Line a muffin tin with paper cases. 2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and mixed spice. 3. Add the beaten eggs, water and vegetable oil to the bowl and mix until just combined. 4. Stir in the grated carrots until evenly distributed throughout the batter. 5. Divide the mixture among the muffin cases, filling each one about three-quarters full. 6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. 7. Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes in the tin, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your delicious carrot cake muffins!
Great video!!
Thank you so much. 😊
You couldn't pay me to eat Indian food 🤢🤢🤢
I love singing silly songs to my dogs ❤️
I love reading that. Makes me feel a lot better about posting it. ☺️. I wonder what silly songs you make up with them. How cute?
I LOVE this so much. You and Marty are the best. ❤❤
Awww, thank you so much. You guys are definitely the best. I hope you are all keeping well. Xx
@@BlindGirlVlogs We have a lot seeming to happen 1 thing after another, but going day by day! 💜
That is awesome
I can't believe I was brave enough to put my shrieking singing, if you can call it singing out for everyone to see. It is my little silliness in a song for my adorable Marty moose. 🤣. I hope you are keeping well and that you have had a lovely weekend.
@@BlindGirlVlogs thank you
Sounds like great fun! I love those old songs.
THE BEST!!! I was born in 80's.. but really lived in the 90's. ❤❤😂😂
have fun babe!!!
I’ll be honest I had NO idea you had your eyes removed because they look so legit So they’re fake eyes, right?
Yes, they both are prosthetic eyes. Appreciate you stopping by and asking the questions. I hope you have a great day.
q: what if I don’t live in the UK? who do i call if this should ever happen to me?
Hey, this really depends on where you live and what provisions are available to you in the country you live. I suppose the first port of Call would be your primary physician or GP. I'm sorry I can't be any more use to you than this. However, definitely speaking to a medical professional if this did ever happen is the first step. That's what I would do in your position.
And this rubbish is £1,800 in the UK. Better and cheaper to get an iPhone and install Seeing AI. This thing used to cost around £2,500. A total rip off.
Rain, is soft water, good for your hair
Well done Sibby, you always acknowledge assistance dogs. Can't believe websites still say that.
I wish this would stop happening to anyone with a service animal! I am so glad to hear they admitted to their wrongdoing and corrected it.. goodness! Proud of all you stand for. Go Siobhan and Marty!!❤
Thank you so much. I do it because I know the impact it can have and it's not just about me but I know many people who simply don't have the confidence to raise it. I will never be silent when it comes to discrimination. I will always speak out, however tough it gets. I do receive an overwhelming amount of support from people, but unfortunately there will always be the few who state hateful things. I hope you are all keeping well. Sending love. X
