Not in bad shape but not perfect either. From what I can tell, most of it is stock. The YJ was a nice simple rig with a fully-boxed frame. Some critics might say that it wasn't a good offroader, but it could run 30s stock, and 33s could fit with just some simple, affordable mods, like a 1" bodylift and TJ Rubicon flares or tubed fenders. Freeing the suspension to articulate was also as simple as disconnecting the trackbars and anti-swaybar. The front could flex even more by relocating the brake hardlines to underneath the framerails by using the bumpstop bolts...'No money needed. Lunchbox lockers and a winch were easy to add too. A rear TJ or XJ D44 or Explorer 8.8 were common mods too. I drove a '95 for almost 15yrs. It went to both coasts several times, and commuted every schoolday and workday.

@YJ-xg3xr3 жыл бұрын
Is the body mount shot due to rust? If so, check the frame closely, especially at the transfer case skid pan mounts, steering box, rear shock towers and rear spring mounts. The one body mount shouldn't cost much to fix if that's the only problem area. The 94 and 95 models are definitely preferable, especially the 4.0L.
