Very well said and it needs to be recognized acknowledged and recorded into the history books and be taught in our schools, colleges, and universities…

I hope the California Historical Society will train future speakers how to speak in public. I should have counted the numbers or 'urms'.

'Black and brown' is consistent and adequate. The term 'People of colour', 'POC', 'of colour', is an institutionally racist term and it's use, for me, stands out like a sore thumb. I understand that it's use here and typically when it is used has no racist intent. (similarly, the term 'negro' which was widely used until the late 1960's and is now regarded derogatory when used in English speaking lexicon.)

Who is on board with Martin Scorcese directing a movie about the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. With state of the art CGI to recreat the actual earthquake. Maybe have Leonardo DiCaprio and Jeremy Renner lending their talent, to the American tragedy and disaster

There is nothing quite like watching people gloss over skirting the corruption that happened and is still happening. Jim Jones would have never existed without government corruption at the highest level. .

My great grandfather, Antonio Angulo Navarrete was sent to live with his uncle Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo after his father, the governor of Baja CA, Pedro Magana and mother were killed. I have Carrillo and Lopez in our family tree. I am trying to figure out the connection.

Look at East Berlin, a communist city where the built the BERLIN WALL to trap people inside while proclaiming they did it to keep the capitalists out. Something in Jonestown, communism and DEI is the real problem

I am part native American I live in California but my ancestors are from the southwest specifically from Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo, El Paso Texas, I feel the government needs to acknowledge what was done to our people admit to the genocide they carried out. It's terrible I can't even begin to express how this feels, knowing the government and its citizens wanted us to be exterminated. All the rape and mass murder they carried out assimilation, culture destruction and destruction of land. The United Snakes of America is what the government is.

Fascinating, fear coupled with the weight of the camera equipment and entering the unknown setting, heavies were used to force their way inside. I feel the photo of female smokers was setup due to the way she holds the pipe away from the lamp

My paternal great grandparents were in this earthquake! My great grandfather was a San Francisco police officer 1889-1911 Officer Charles F. Castor #314 👮‍♂️💙 Five years after this earthquake, my great grandfather and his colleague and partner Officer Thomas Finnelly were both shot and killed in the line of duty at the Ferry building by a fugitive suspect that was wanted for murder in his home country Veley, Greece. This story is in San Francisco archives as well as on the Officer Down Memorial website 💙🖤 💙🖤 💔

Marxism gone wrong! Commune living where they take ur $ & divide the possessions, no poverty, everyone’s equal…so bogus because someone has 2b in charge of the $ in every society & if u r a follower not a leader, u ain’t equal! Milk, Moscone, Jerry Brown & Jimmy Carter all propped this guy up & were duped! He held a fundraiser 4 Carter in 1976…did u know that? Carter was angry at the Ford administration 4 trying 2 stop Jones from going 2 Guyana because Ford’s administration was investigating him… thst stopped w Carter! He loved Jones & didn’t like Ryan’s committee at first & didn’t pressure Guyana or provide security 4 Ryan’s delegation! No one is talking about this! The govt & press could figure out Vietnam & Watergate but not this guy who was chummy w politicians & got appointed 2 Housing Authority by duped Moscone! My heart goes out 4 these men & their families…everyone betrayed them! They were Americans who deserved 2b protected by govt & press!

To continue sorry did the man really like black and the minority I feel he didn't but a lot of them had property so he use that to get them into the temple and con them and that is what happen in the first film the original I think he set the kkk men to go and scare the man n his family and then when they moved to guyana the same man was murdered which jim jones ordered which is sad before they moved and was in Sunday service the black man was jimjone black hand man and he was not selected for a higher position not one black members was selected after that I would of stayed in America jim jone had no respect for his fellow black church family but he and his family still went out of respect and loyalty jimjones wanted to be a celebrity not a leader of the church but then on the flip side he never wanted to take photo jim jones you were a cult leader n Isle it in the UK and I run for the hills I am not going to call no leader father daddy I have one father and he is god in heaven
