  When i done mine i used patern part front wings to use for inner rear arch lips etc, worked very well. Getting cuts from another car that isnt in the same condition will b very hard to do, best to just fabricate urself. Keep up the good work.

  Yes it is, looks like it has lived on a beach! We did know before buying and inners actually seem solid, and the floor pan, rails etc are excellent.

  Not so far, sills are the same as standard Focus, wing repair panels are available for the front wings, and there is a company making the RS specific rear arches. There will be a few difficult bits such as the engine undertray, which is missing, but we'll keep looking.

  The boat is all finished now and tucked away for winter, I still need to upload the last video. It has been in the family since new in 1979, we repowered it back in 2002 and then these works now. Come spring it will be up for sale sadly.

  Ah, Woody? He may well remember this one, it was bought as a pair back in 79, I did have some conversation with him about it in the early 2000s. It is a shame, love the boat, but we also have a ski boat and don't have the space for two but are torn as I literally grew up with it.

  I've had the 6.2amg on an ml, straight pipe from the cats... I haven't heard any car sound better than that yet. I have m278 now and have been checking videos on what m278/157 would sound like straight piped. It's nice but it can't compete with the m156.

  The 6.2 has a higher red line rpm once over the 5000 rpm. The 6.2 sound blows the 5.5 away. The 5.5 may sound deeper on cold start but thats it. The N/A 6.2 is a master piece on exhaust tone!!!!

  definitely, just swapped my 6.2 for a 5.5 and that 6.2 note is sublime. the 5.5 isn't quite in the same league. Great for a turbo engine. but to be honest the c63s I had which was only 4 litre had a better, louder exhaust than the e63 s 5.5. the 4 litre popped and banged like guy fawkes day and was loud, really loud. the 5.5... nope. the one thing the 5.5 has going for it is more than 600 horsepower and > 800nm of torque (stock) on a rwd car, it is a proper brute. the rear wheels have no hope of any traction in any weather condition. the 4.0l c63s is the wildest car of the bunch. it always wanted to go sideways.

  @@MandeepPanesarkenya Being loud with pops and bangs does not make it sound nice or beautifull. It just makes disturbing loud noise. Unnecessary when it doesn't have to most of the time. The 5.5 may not be loud, but it sounds pretty serious just like the M113K. The 6.2 is just legend but only stock. When tuned it becomes quickly loud noise. The 4.0 sound pretty shit compared to the big blocks.

  Boost changes everything. 6.2 has larger bore and larger valves and several improvements in it.
