I tried this, but Denita would not go through because it’s the bill is so hard so what needles are you using? I tried to embroidery a bill of a hat needle was just not go through.

I was so scared to even try to bead the brim of a hat till I found your tutorial. You put me at ease by saying it's handmade and not made by a machime. Nothing has to be perfect like that. Thank you!

Why do you use the tape?

The fabric was loose so she taped it to keep it smooth, i think.

Ok, so i think what she does is lay the tape down as a straight-edge, then she tightens the fabric and tacks the fabric down in that straight line right above the top edge of the tape. Peel the tape off and now she has smooth fabric and a thread guide to keep the bead edges even. Cool.
