    Hello @Sira77777, thank you very much for your visit and for your message 🙏Yes, hummingbirds are really very incredible especially this particular one is one of the fastest one on the planet. Luckily climate change so far helping them spread their wings even further than their prior smaller home regions. And yes, I feel very lucky that this little supper bird jumped in front of my camera while I was recording the gorgeous white flowers. One of the luckiest moments of my life. I am glad you experienced them in person as well 🍀🕊️😎 Cheers from South Florida 🕊️🌸⚓🦋🌴🐬🍀

    I know this doesn't have to do with cardinals, but I am from Panama (relatives from my mother's side are from there); my abuelo is from the Dominican Republic (according to my mother). I'm mentioning this because I read on your description page that you visited both places. Also, my relatives and I used to be friends with Columbians in Colorado. Of course, I"ve been acquainted with Puerto Ricans and Mexicans. I used to have a Japanese friend as a child. I've known people from other ancestral backgrounds, but these stood out the most.

    Question : It's there a singing pattern that is proper of this bird, or are they all imitation from the other species? If so, which is its real singing pattern?

  • @VolkanYuksel
    @VolkanYuksel10 күн бұрын

    Hello @353Studios, thank you for your visit and such a good question 🙏 From what I know, in the Florida area, mocking birds are generally not migrating birds. But I think when they are mimicking other birds for trying to impress females with their total travel, life experience and remixing intelligence skills... For example one song like "I Drove All Night" which was first performed by Ciny Louper created much more attention when it was performed by Celine Dion 💃 I think mocking birds are also trying to add their own twist to the songs of others so that they distinguish themselves from other competing birds in the area. According to Google; "Mockingbirds are famous for their mimicry, but yes, they do have some original sounds in their repertoire! Clicks, pops, and whistles: These aren't necessarily mimicking anything specific, but rather seem to be part of their own unique vocabulary. Harsh calls: These calls are used for communication purposes, like scolding intruders or attracting a mate. They aren't mimicking anything else, but are specific sounds used by mockingbirds themselves." I"ll update this if I come across more about this. Thank you again and cheers from South Florida 🌴 🦜🦋😎🍀

  • @VolkanYuksel
    @VolkanYuksel25 күн бұрын

    Hello, you may be right about Floridians calling rain as showers... Being surrounded with Golf of Mexico and Atlantic ocean can cause intensified rain like this one. But, prior to the recent heavy rains, many of the Southern Florida areas were experiencing below normal railfall for the year...

    Hello @r.h.8504, glad that you've found out about the differences between grackles and crows. I'd say crows and ravens more humble birds 😅 The static sound you're referring, yes, I think they do that too. But when I heard that here in South Florida, it was coming from a Mocking bird, and I think he was mocking a grackle sound 😅 I think they do the static sound during flight, shortly before landing... Hello @danmallard280, thank you for sharing your valuable insights about the Nashville's Parthenon from 1970s. I am guessing once they start charging visitors a fee, they may have created funds to pay for the maintenance and most importantly to pay artist Alan LeQuire for the incredible Athena monument and her almost pure gold extraordinary cladding. I think Nashville's Parthenon is more complete with this very impressive monumental piece of art inside. Cheers from South Florida 🌴😎🍀
