Hello Witches and magical kindreds! I'm Kim, the person behind The Way of the Witch channel.
Though I was honored to lead several covens back in the day and have belonged to a few very large spiritual groups, I've embraced the path of the solitary witch. Through my experiences, I've discovered that my true magic lies in doing things my own way.
The holy wild beckons me, and I find my greatest joy while hiking amidst the beauty of Nor Cal's sacred landscapes. And, as well, I revel in the creative process and can often be found at my painty table, weaving art and magic into existence.
The Way of the Witch channel was born from my desire to become a visual storyteller and to connect with the vibrant and inspiring witchy community here on KZread. It's a space where I explore the mystical arts, hopefully share some wisdom, and strengthen the bonds that tie us together on this magical journey. Oh my gosh, the idea of using graphite paper to transfer text and images onto the pages is so freaking clever! Wish I'd thought of that myself years ago because I might of actually started my BOS by now instead of being too scared of messing up! 😍

Plans are being made, ideas galore have been formed, sadly, however, gathering supplies has been slow due to finances but I am determined to see it through to the end this time! Next step is checking Amazon for graphite paper because I can't seem to find it in my area, lol! 😁
@@K.MorrisDavison yes that is the best place - I just looked and saw a pack of 30 pages of graphite paper with free prime shipping for $3.99 so maybe that will be okay? But I totally get you on finances and budget - everything is so expensive these days.

So sorry I have been MIA - I started feeling better in March but January through now is my super busy season at work - so I’ve been traveling a lot - producing a variety of events (I’m at one now) and dealing with a lot of work drama so haven’t had much time to paint or work in my BoS or grimoire. 💟🦋🌷🙏 What Must I Do To Be Saved? This is the most important question in human existence and one whose answer is clearly outlined in scripture. In order to be saved we must first realize our true state of sinfulness before God and know that He alone can save us, cleanse us, and give us eternal life. Scripture tells us that Jesus is the only way and we can not have access to God through any other means. In fact, in John 14:6, Jesus plainly stated..."I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." God Loves You! God loves you so much that he made a way for you, through the shed blood of his son so that you might be able to spend eternity with Him. “For God so loved the world that he gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life” ( Jn. 3:16 ). Man is a Sinner, and Sin has Separated him from God! You may think you are a good person but being good is not enough! Every man has sinned and there is none that is righteous before God! “For there is not a just man upon Earth, that doeth good and sinneth not” ( Eccl. 7:20 ). “For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God” (Rom. 3:23). Jesus Christ is the Only Remedy for Sin! Jesus Christ is the only remedy for sin. We can not be good enough to get into heaven, nor can our good works get us there. There was no other way for God to erase the effect of sin except by blood. The shedding of Christ's blood indicated that the penalty for sin had been paid; a perfect sinless life had been sacrificed for the lives of all who have sinned. “. . .Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins” ( Hebrews 9:22 ) “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God...” ( I Pet. 3:18 ). “Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” ( Acts 4:12 ). You Must Receive Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior To be saved, a man must confess that Jesus is Lord, while acknowledging in his heart that Christ must have full rule over his life. This confession of Christ as Lord assumes that it is Christ who will work and fulfill His own righteousness within man, as man is unable to attain righteousness of his own accord. Jesus calls this experience the “new birth.” He told Nicodemus: “. . . Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God” ( Jn. 3:3 ). We invite you now to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name” ( Jn. 1:12 ). Pray this Prayer and Mean it with all Your Heart Dear Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner and have broken your laws. I understand that my sin has separated me from you. I am sorry and I ask you to forgive me. I accept the fact that your son Jesus Christ died for me, was resurrected, and is alive today and hears my prayers. I now open my heart’s door and invite Jesus in to become my Lord and my Saviour. I give Him control and ask that He would rule and reign in my heart so that His perfect will would be accomplished in my life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Congratulations! If you prayed this prayer in all sincerity, you are now a Child of God. However there are a few things that you need to do to follow up on your commitment. * Get baptized ( full immersion) in water as commanded by Christ * Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ. * Spend time with God each day through prayer and Bible reading * Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus

@jpan7071 yes I’ve been doing lots of tea with lemon and local honey - also got a steamer just for my vocal cords. Taking meds etc. Ugh. Hoping I don’t have permanent damage. 😳🙄🤗

Oh yes! I love this book! So awesome that you got one! I actually mainly use gouache but I will use watercolor and even acrylics and ink - love mixed media. 😍😍

I only get them now on Sabbatg months. I was super disappointed that they didn't send Imbolc in January! I know ill be getting it way later than Imbolc. I wish they would maul them at the end of the mobth so that they get here early. I, too, am getting thwm so late!
Yeah it got to be kind of a bummer and I’d been getting them for so long that the late arrivals ended up being the one thing that made me quit - I just got to the point where I didn’t care anymore. 😂😜🤗

@@arcanjosan2 ahhhh - yes they are nice blank books - the paper is really thick but soft so erasing is not a good idea. I got it on Amazon too and I want to say that it ran around $45-$50. ❤️

I know what you mean ❤I have run out of space and i am going to have to double up the boxes or start moving them up to my other little house in N.H. which is already quite full also as i am in a trailer here and my Dad left me his home in N.H. and we haven't got rid of his things yet as i am very sentimental Plus my Son and his girl are there and going to have a baby anytime now so it will be crowded. We are supposed to build a new home on his property when my husband retires If we make it that long) All i want is lots of shelves for my Tarot, Oracle and dolls and i want more room for Altar space also. All i want is more room lol. I thought about cancelling my Witche's Moon subscription a couple times myself but every time i do we get a new box with Awesome stuff lol. Dawn you got this - having a room of one’s own is so important. Yeasts ago when I lived in Cincinnati, I found a cheap studio for rent - it was a building of converted storage units that had been turned into artist lofts and it was super cheap - like $175 per month for 400 sq ft space. I loved it - it was a revelation for me. I had it for about 2 years before I moved to California. Now here, I have my little office/studio/doll room and believe me it is packed. I have a lot of stuff and need to downsize but hate to get rid of things that I use. I also need to do a better job of using the stuff that I have rather than to bring in more stuff. lol. It’s a process I guess. 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you Kim☺I know what you mean about not wanting to get rid of stuff i have because i love everything i have here. It took me years to actually have things because my Mom moved me around ALOT and always got rid of my stuff not hers. Than when i was an adult i lived in bad area's where everything got stolen. I like to rotate my decks depending on the season and my mood. I have cut way down on buying things and i enjoy my dolls and Witchy items. I had my own home in the 90's that i bought with my ex Narcissist and it was huge! I loved it so much but had to let him have it so i could get away from him. It was the only way he would sign the divorce papers. He just passed away and my kids want me to get it back but he changed it completely. I had good memories of me and the kids there but the ones of him were awful so i am leaning towards building a house in N.H. it's just i am 63 and have health problems but i am a fighter so you are right ☺I got this 🤗🤗🤗🤗🩷🩷I really appreciate your kind words of encouragement 🙏🙏@@thewayofthewitch
@SunshineDawn7 Hi Dawn - I’ll be 60 this year and have been struggling with my health the past couple of years. I gained 20 pounds since Covid and want to lose that weight and feel better. I’ve had a bad cough since Thanksgiving and am so tired of feeling like crap plus my job is so busy right now. I have to prioritize it because it’s my only source of income - so doesn’t leave me much time for fun or self-care. But I’m going to make time in 2024 - haha, right after these two big events - one next week and one at end of January. One thing I know for sure - we are strong women (you must be for all you’ve survived!) and we can do anything we set our minds to. 🤗🤗🤗

I have enjoyed your videos for sure and I do enjoy your unboxings although most of the items I really do not want. I do identify with your life obligations conflicting with your life aspirations.
