  Also Chinese cheaters are pretending to "foreigners" now, Japanese name, western like names, foreign flags, but stay in a fucking Chinese clan. Huh. Lowest. I've seen Brazilian cheaters, Korean cheaters, Russian cheaters, but I've never seen any cheater like Chinese cheaters try to pass the blame to others. It's fucking pointless.

  Tiger 2 and Panther MG port used to be a real, viable shot. Now it's impossible for some weird reason. I could try those shots again like I did in the video and it most likely wouldn't work. The US 90mm could go through Tiger 2 mg port. The US 76mm could go through Panther/Jagdpanther mg port. Now, they're just that much harder to kill.

  It got nerfed, the empty space is now all taken up by the autoloader, so even if you cant kill it in one shot, it cant shoot back

  Not that you can brawl with most mediums either. You get one shotted by a lot in most medium tanks either way, might as well have speed to get abusive positions

  I disagree, br matters because certain br's are so popular it will often lead to in-between br's getting dragged into constant uptiers against tanks that outclass them. This can ruin lineups when br changes roll around.

  I could not agree more. I feel like any time someone has a problem with another vehicle this is their scape goat. It is good at everything but it isn’t great at anything. Biegleit doing bad? Blame the 2S38 HSTVL doing bad? Blame the 2S38 Died cause you were flying low? Blame the 2S38. I have been preaching the idea of it not being OP for a very long time. Sadly no one seems to listen as it challenges their idea. Great Vid man.

  As someone with over 2k hours in the game and over 500 kills in the 2S38, I am pretty confident in saying that the 2S38 is OP in the hands of an experienced player. Someone who has just purchased the tank and is either new to the game or new to tanks like the 2S38 (Begleitpanzer, PT76-57, etc) will likely assume they can just rush head-on and frontally pen every tank they see. The whole point of a tank like the 2S38 is to flank and exploit weakness, and for that the 2S38 is unmatched. No other tank has such versatility, killing potential, and ease of use at such a low BR and the tank probably deserves to be somewhere around the 10.7-11.0 BR area where I have used it many times paired with the T-90A and T-80UM2 with great effect.

  How a vehicle that can keep up with an HSTV-L and an Otomatic simultaneously being only 10.0 is beyond me. Also, this video was extremely condescending. Especially the laugh tracks over other people's content.

  It's the best tank in the game, it's not even an argument. 2S38 spam collapses games. It reaches out to 5+kilometers against air targets and has every mod a machine can have in the game. OP is trash.

  I agree with most points brought up in this video. I just don’t understand why Gaijin classed this as a light tank to give it full APFSDS and scouting, while the OTOMATIC can only bring a few APFSDS as self defense. Both were meant to be AAA systems IRL.

  Great video, very informative. I feel like br does it job for the most part, like you said you can find tanks that perform similarly at each br, ie the whole fucking point . And for some tanks, br doesn’t even matter like the paladin and the British Death Star, they will kill when their long reload is done and they are fairly easy to kill regardless of br. Also it is a plus when Russian vehicles meet the bare minimum for their current counterparts, considering they often lack any or all modern features or are 30 years behind and just catch up like the T-14 armada. Russian vehicles suck ass irl if you think about more than just hard factors like armor, horsepower, and firepower. They all guzzle fuel so they need more logistics to fuel them, they are usually cramped, unreliable af, and usually 1 to 3 generations behind in tech. Lazerpig has a good video explaining this about the T-14.

  I mean tbf. there are bucketloads of vehicles in this game that has pure fantasy values of well penetration vs what they can do in real life. It does make abit sense tweaking that stuff or there would not that much diversity going on which is good. Me however that spent years and years in the army as an actual anti-tank specialist even after thousands of hours in this dumbass game will still be "ah its a bmp1, cant do shit to me" and blep. or whatever vehicle it is. Point is they could have made the things slightly less fantasty.

  My problem with the 2s38 is when I’m in a plane, it’s so good and I get no warning I’m being shot at, no RWR, no tracers and sound comes after it hits you. Especially when I’m in an F4C they annoy the living hell out of me

  Can`t one shot MBT`s Proceds to disabled the gun/breach and kills it from the side side note most ppl complaining about the 2s38 are USA mains because the gun while not having much pen is enought to pen the neck of the abrams that`s why we think it should be 11.7

  So I saw you compare the 2S38 and the HSTVL in the test drive. Have you used it in battle? Because shooting static targets 2-3 br brackets below you is cool but in practice the HSTVL has the same problem you claim the 2S38 has where theres no one shot potential but one has better follow up shot potential. The same way I cant say the 2S38 is bad because I havent played it, you cant compare it to a vehicle you cant/havent played. TLDR: Move the 2S38 up or move the HSTVL down.   I have played the HSTV-L, how do you think I'm able to play it in the test drive? Also, you can just look at my stat card. Yes, the HSTV-L has bad one shot potential, but it's still much better than the 2S38. And if either of these two vehicles have better follow up potential I would only hope you are referring to the HSTV-L. Yeah the test drive shows tanks a couple br's lower, but these are tanks with pretty good armor. The IT-1, the T-55A, the T-62, the T-10M. And what is the 2S38 shooting at? Leopard ones, Centurions, Chieftains, MBT-70's. These tanks have pretty weak armor. Put the 2S38 against the things the HSTV-L is up against and it won't do nearly as good. In battle the HSTV-L won't be one shotting consistently but it does happen and the follow up usually finishes off the crew without much issue. So you can't say the 2S38 is bad because you've never played it, but you can say it's good and needs to move up? Make that make sense.

  @@CrabbyPattyMoox As far as the test drive goes, you can test drive the next vehicle in line, ngl thats the only reason I could think of as to why you didnt show gameplay. The better follow up shot potential, they are both have really good in that regard but the 2S38 can fire 3 shots before the HSTVL can fire (again both really good either way). We seem to agree that the test drive preformance should not represent in game preformance. Sure the IT-1, T-62, etc. have decent frontal armor (where you were shooting) but that nowhere near compares to to the frontal armor of a T-80U, T-72B3, Leo 2A6, which are things the HSTVL will fight. I dont think the ~50mm of extra pen justify the 1.3 br increase. Of course a counter to my own point is, neither of these vics fight only heavy MBTs, plenty of light tanks to go around. For the 3rd para I dont have much to say, yep it dont one shot fair 'nough. Lastly, I never said the 2S38 was good, I'm saying move it up because if the 2S38 can do similar things to the HSTVL plus AA why cant they be closer in br. Since you want to make some statements: Make it make sense why theres no HSTVL gameplay when using HSTVL as an example. I dont like the HSTVL, you clearly dont like the 2S38, cool not everyone likes every vehicle, shocker. Doesnt mean its overrated to everyone, I respect your opinion but I dont know if I agree with it.
