Good choice. The 70-200 f2.8 is also a sharper lens. The 100-400 has always had a softness issue way out past the 200 mark.

I use my EF100-400mm with a 1,4x converter on my 7D ii with middle cross af point still working like a charm! That is enough reason for me to keep the 100-400 instead!

The reason these got discontinued is because there was a class action lawsuit on this Urethane model. They will fail at the corner or under heat.

The sanding area at the tip of the delta on one of these becomes clogged in about five minutes without vacuum and pills up in about ten minutes with it. You can't efficiently hold the Rotex flat. You don't hold the 400 on top as it's too unstable, you wind up holding it around the body. The edge protector is about keeping the edges of the pad in good shape, you should be protecting the work surface with your skill handling the machine not a plastic bumper. Most people take it off and leave it off as the compromise of not getting at the edge is not worth having it on and it blocks your view.

Hi ChinskiChat. My name is José Luis. I'm from Spain. In my opinion you did a simple and sincere work that all of us have received clearly. So lots of thanks. I ask you: do you know where to buy the model 93i (no bluethoot)? I've looking on the net but I didn't find nothing new (first hand). Thanks. José Luis.

As a former narc prosecutor, I'm sure the medication capsule suggestions is really for tweakers to hide some dope in a re purposed capsule. A cop looking at a multitool would not likely open it and examine the internal structure.

People seem to always miss you can turn your 100-400 into a 200-800 with that extender which makes the 100-400 a lot more useful. 400mm isn’t enough a lot of the time

I love the Surge. Been carrying it for over a decade. I have the black one, which makes the ruler markings on the inside nearly impossible to use. So, after *years* bemoaning this problem, I finally realized I could fix it. So I painted over them with white paint, wiped off the excess, and was left with incredibly easy to read, white ruler markings on a black frame. For a bare metal one, I'd probably use coloured paint, like blue, red, or green. Hope this helps somebody.

You can also lift the saw blade & slide a quarter in the slot to push out the lanyard ring. Also, you can pop off the knife clip and use end of the knife clip to push out lanyard ring. you can use clip (either end) to tuck in or retrieve small matches, small ferro rod, waxed twine, etc... that can be hidden in the cavities of the knife. Just use shrink wrap first to first wrap items to protect them from moisture or getting wet.

thanks for the video, it was frustrating to find out my arca swiss l plates on cameras are not compatible, even thoiugh DJI advertises the clamp to be arca swiss.... it sort of is, but not really. It's different to everything else I have, as the clamp on the bottom manfrotto plate is too thick and and none of my existing plates fit it... this smallrig one cost 30-50e depending on where i look, and I hope it fixes my problem, cheers.

The Wave and Charge actually already have a hidden lanyard loop attachment point! On the Wave it’s inside the recess where the tip of the saw folds to, and on the Charge it’s at the tip of the removable file/saw. You can push it out with the removable flat head bit.

Only really have two problems with the vibrams, first which isn't REALLY a problem per se is that my toes are kinda short so except for my big toe none of the other toes goes all the way in leaving a fair bit of empty room in the front. The other is that to avoid the "flip-flop effect" I have to REALLY tighten the lacing, as hard as it is in fact possible, probable at least in part due to my fairly narrow heels/ankels.
