Lets go! Welcome to my channel, my name in Michael Williams and weather enthusiast who chases storms with the goal of documenting both the good and bad realities of the awesome power of our planet, helping educate and warn people of weather, and conducting field research on tornadoes. Here, you will find incredible storm adventures with lightning, wind, hail, tornadoes, auroras, and more!

I live in a suburb of KC MO (Raytown) and except for a few rumbles of thunder, I didn't see or hear anything.
Haven’t seen anything very intense in STL rn you got a lot rn in Kansas . The flooding is bad in STL that’s really it, no tornadoes 😅. Love your channel Mikey.
@@jrlikeshockey you guys had some tornadoes not to far to your south today! And thank you!
@@MesoscaleMikeyChasing oh yeah nevermind I remember that now it was in like Jefferson or Jackson I don’t know

I'm in Raytown, MO and my housemates and their friends were gabbing in the garage with the door wide open, and a massive lightning bolt hit close enough to them that their hair tingled! I was in the basement and SCREAMED, lol (new to MO!)
That's what's rolling through down here in StL county.
2:17 wow
This was, indeed, the summer of the wind. Love the footage, Midwestern weather terrifies and fascinates me.
Thank you!
awesome video, glad to see that y'all make sure to keep yourselves safe while chasing these storms by always having a plan of where to go and seeking shelter when stuff starts getting real. i have massive respect for storm chasers and the work you guys do to keep their communities safe, it's comforting to see that you're taking care of yourself as well! what app/website did you have pulled up on your phone at 9:25 and what software is shown at 11:35? as someone who experiences frequent severe weather in my area i've been looking at software i can use to more accurately track storms and their warnings, any potential hail, etc. and the weather app on my phone isn't good enough for me anymore lol keep up the good work and stay safe out there! :D
Thank you so much for the kind words! 9:27 was RadarScope, 11:35 I believe he had GR level 3
I feel like people don't take derechos and severe t-storms nearly serious enough. A big derecho can be even more destructive and life-threatening than a small tornado, especially if people aren't taking proper shelter when it hits! I don't take any chances; if we get a warning with considerable damage tag or worse, you'll find me in the basement watching my cameras 😂 Great video man, I subscribed.
Absolutely. Thank you!
you coming to michigan soon
I'm hoping we don't get anything else in Michigan this year. I knew it was gonna be a bad year when we got our first tornado warning in February 😂
Love your videos your too underrated
Thank you!
And honestly that's not the problem in my opinion, its the darn algorithm LOL
@@MesoscaleMikeyChasing I feel you.
Excellent coverage - really enjoyed this! Hope you got home not too late! :)
Thanks for watching I'm glad you enjoyed! And yeah haha
yo. love the vids
Thank you!
amazing!
Thank you!
Actually look like aliens coming down tl eartg😂
Here in Massachusetts, we dont get tornadoes 😭 As much as id like to see one irl
This video is a MASTERPIECE. Great Job! You've came a long way.
Thank you so much!
That massive cumulonimbus looks like it came from a volcanic eruption or even a nuclear bomb. Just surreal that this MONSTER of a storm towered such a high altitude.
Those cloud formations and airflow directions are superb. Ace video! Thoroughly enjoyed it and well done! Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Amazing video!
Thank you!
IM 2ND OMG
I remember this from the old channel, love the time-lapses and great music choice! Excited to see the next one
Great video Mike! Those shots look awesome. You definitely deserve more subs.
Thank you so much!
Closest call we’ve had here since 2012
Yikes. I also hear you guys had one in 2004 almost to the day of

Love your videos man! So inspiring . ❤☁️🙏 that anvil cloud is beautiful
That’s crazy!! The structure on that thing was insane, great chase!
Thank you sir! It sure was!
good job man
Thank you!
Ducking into a car wash is genius.
Thank you! Gas stations just don’t cut it when the wind is that strong from the side.
I saw the bow echo on radar last night, it was terrifying…
The backwards "C."
I was watching Max velocity’s livestream yesterday and it looked crazy and that derecho was brutal. I really like your videos, I’m 16 with autism and want to become a meteorologist. You keep doing what you do! ❤
It was wicked! I’m so happy I bring you joy. Thank you for the kind words!
@@MesoscaleMikeyChasing no problem 💪
That wind and hail looks crazy, I heard there was even a 100mph wind gust recorded at Salina Airport? Wild storm
There was!
Shoot, y’all getting stuck right as the tornado warning started blaring was actual nightmare fuel man🤣 sick chase!!! Glad yall were able to get outta there safely, congrats on your first tornado!
Thank you so much, man! You too! Bruh I said the same thing! Like why does it have to comedically come on right at that time as if to strategically say “for the record, you’re f*cked” Yikes, I was about ready to either have us get on foot and run, or find a ditch or a house. That’s why you hear me mention “there’s a house at least”😭
Sick stuff. Good chase!
Thank you!
I'm glad you were able to get out of that mud, great video!
Thank you! Me too!
Great video! Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you! I will!
