Victor produces high energy/performance formulas…high fat. Orijen tundra is high protein but not high fat nor designed for dogs requiring big output of sustained energy…
Victor won this one
I went down the rabbit trail and many important links have been deleted.
I feed my dogs victor
The pet shop guy is promoting the other dog food ,he go stock in it .
So I’m switching my rottweiler from totw to victor brand she’s still considered a puppy which victor flavor would you recommend? Hi-pro plus or the professional?
I would say HI Pro Plus since that bag has the most meat in it. Although, personally, I would stay with TOTW since it has more meat than victor
Hey is it safe to use on a French bulldog?
I only use Victor for my Cane Corso..She’s 7months now and loves it and it is amazing.!!
CanineX now has yeast on the ingredients label !! verified 12-29-2022
WOOOOOOOOOOOOW
All are garbage
It’s not blood
Sorry but bad contamination practices
Switched from Victor's to valu pak.
I always feed my gsds victor but ive been thinking of switching over to valupak it is so much cheaper and get more too
How are they doing on the valu pak ? I bought my first bag today ,ive noticed with most other dog foods I've tried, they've had loose stools and act as if they are constantly starving even though I feed them more than recommend. I bought the red bag today
@@elenascott081 im not sure about the red bag i get them the black bag if i buy valu pak its better than most cheap dog food but its not as good as victor ive noticed but price wise its better but ive noticed with victor the dogs coats look a bit better i think, valu pak is decent but they may be having loose stools because if you switch over immediately that can happen, if i do it i like to mix it untill they get used to it, that may be the issue your having but if they continue to have stools like that id switch but ease into it
@@elenascott081 but they should do decent on valu pak just give it some time id say its better than the cheaper stuff for sure
He is so informative & you can tell would make for a good Jeopardy contestant. I could just shut up & listen to him say random facts for hours. Also his arms are cut so when homie says yeast is bad for all animals, I believe him (even though I already knew this to be true even though I still eat it😩)
how do you keep it so clear
I’ve been feeding Purina One Lamb & Rice to my blue pitbull for about a month now. He was eating Purina One Chicken and Rice and we made the switch to the lamb and rice because a vet told us he may have a chicken allergy. Well his hotspots, rash on the white of his neck and chest area, and now something he didn’t do before but licking his paws raw has all gotten worse with the lamb and rice. There’s no wheat in the food, or atleast when I read the ingredients there was no mention of yeast. What else could be a problem? I feel awful for him because I know he’s suffering. He scratches and licks his paws all day and night. No fleas. No ticks. Baths every 7-8 days in summer and 3-4 weeks in winter.
So my pitbull has pretty bad allergies. Hotspots and licks his paws raw. The two veterinarians I’ve taken him to were no help at all. One wanted me to pay 450$ for an allergy test, and they both sent me home with a medicated shampoo and prednisone. I feed him Purina One Lamb and Rice but it doesn’t say there’s any yeast in the food. Any ideas what could be causing this? He was on Purina One Chicken and Rice but I switched him over to see if maybe he had a chicken allergy but it actually got worse. He wasn’t licking his paws raw until switching him to lamb.
I have French bulldogs and this kinda happened to me and I thought it was the chicken as well but on my case it was the rice any thing that has rice my dogs would start liking and chewing there paws and scratching everywhere
How do I get that Victor dog food can someone inbox me and give me the information
Thank you !
I think victors is great food and here is my reason and only reason this is the second review that someone is comparing it to $150 dollar dog food victor is a third of that price u can get 3 bags of victor
Recommendation for husky 8 month old pup
Im looking to feed my 2 dogs premium food .They are both amstaffs and are in the 4 and 8 month range what food you recommend the best for them that is healthy and good for muscle growth
What about English bulldog?? Feeding currently blue buffalo limited ingredient turkey and pumpkin
This guy is a bit of a joke. Slamming Victor but making money off it
I feed black bag Value Pak for my American Bully
You're also comparing a grain free vs grain bag. The Victor dog food that is grain free comes in 25-28 lb bags.
my dog is recovering from parvo but he got really skinny… what can i do to pick his weight up
Damn who is this guy. Did he just do that😳😂😂😂😂
Recommendation please. So do you think it’s best to go grain free when it comes to kibble and why? I feed victor HPP right now and think maybe the caninex would be better choice . Which one would you recommend for 70lb Malinois ? Thank you
In your opinion what is the healthiest dog food? I currently use ValuPak black bag for my 11wk old American Bully. I live in NY and noone in my area sells it. I pay more for shipping than I do for the food itself. Please help if you can. Thanks.
The breeder I got my olde english bulldog from feeds his puppies and adult dogs victor professional. I read the ingredients and its all meat meal, and grains....isnt that bad? The lady at petco recommended orijen so I switched, and now she smells fishy, due to the salmon in it. Does anyone have a good dog food that doesnt put me in the poor house?
Diamond/ Bully Max/ Victors/ Retriever/ Blue those are all good I favor bully max but they’re bodies are all different so your dog maybe more compatible with the ladder also it’s good to get a expensive and a cheap like a Purina and mix them that works really well and when I say really well you’d be surprised right now I uses bully max mixed with pedigree I’m thinking about doing a bully max mixed with victor’s next
Whats your opinion on victor high pro plus? Is it a Fad? Or is it pitbull freindly? Thoughts? Comments? Advise?
A lot of people use the hi pro especially in the bully game. It is a proven feed. I personally think it has too much protein. I’d suggest the red bag of victor or valu pak 24/20
@@armchairgangstac907 thank you for the advise
I mix victor hi pro and valu pak and my bully loves it mix in two eggs and he eat it all
Is Victor better than Blue Buffalo?
💯 % thank you
Value Pak purple 30/20 my choice
So why does everyone else say Value Pack is the best, v
😳Tundra $170 / Victor $50
just because it has more meat doesnt make it better for your dog so Victor is still the Best
I’m mixing nulo dry and victor canned food right now for my dog
Which is better for a husky .. never try victor before ?
Hay you might want to do some research and figure out the right way to take care of your ball python
VICTOR Classic Hi-Pro Plus Formula Dry Dog Food Or Diamond Puppy Formula Dry Dog Food for a pitbull puppy ? Which bag has more protein?
Definitely not diamond. Chicken by-product meal is the first ingredient on the Diamond Puppy. That is hardly any meat at all, if any. If I had to choose between two of them I guess I would pick the Victor since it seems to have more meat than diamond. Even though a bag may have a protein percentage on it you have to see where they're getting the protein percentage from is it from meat or is it from corn wheat soy or rice? You always want to see what the source is
Nothing better than the pet store employee trying to sound like he has a clue about dog food. How many manufacturing plants were visited before shooting the video, also what were feeding trial results of each, how about evaluated digestible content percent based on real feeding trials? Any life cycle studies that back your data over the life of animals? Nope but looking at the bag magically makes it better,. Feed what you want but get your information from the facility making your pets food not a store employee
1st I am not an employee I own this store. Secondly I was born into this business so the trials you speak of were taken by my customers who then relayed the information to me where I then in turn write these ingredients on a whiteboard and connect ingredients with other ingredients from other dog foods to find the culprit ingredients that are causing the problems. I have visited too dog food manufacturing facilities in my lifetime, this is only because most dog or pet food manufacturing facilities will not let anybody in. Victor dog food is one of them. This is usually because they're hiding gross things. Anyone that asks me which food they should feed their dog or cat the first thing from my mouth is a balanced raw diet. Looking at a bag does not make it magically better even though lies and fake numbers are magically printed on it based on your verbage I'm sure I could easily outwit you when it comes to talking about pet food. Whenever you're ready for debate just let me know son
@@petshoptalk576 Sorry that you feel offended by my comment, but there are MILLIONS of videos online just like yours, but when you compare tangible data from real feeding trials, peer reviews that were done under controlled conditions, more often than not the "better" feed becomes a placebo. So if you have statistical data, as well as blood tests showing before & after the results of a dog that started out on a feed like Victors and switched to one like Orijen that can scientifically conclude your assessment to be valid I'd like to see it, otherwise I have to take it as propaganda which 90% of these vlogs are. Congrats on the feed store, I have a distribution service and pet food is a item we carry. But you and I know that business ownership does not equate to expertise, that's the equivalent to expecting a Used Car Salesman to be a master mechanic.
Awesome....so I went to petsmart and asked the employee what food she recommended for a GSD and she said BILL JACK..I looked at the ingredients and saw BHA...I was like you don't know your dog food...I went with Wellness CORe...pup enjoys it
Wellness is garbage too
What’s your top 3 kibbles for a growing working GSD puppy? Currently is on Acana keeping calcium/phosphorus ratio as close as I can to (1.2/1.0)
What do you guys recommend a American pitbull puppy at 7 weeks to eat to grow big and healthy
Firstly I would say a balanced raw diet is the best thing for any dog. If that is not practical you want to find a kibble that has the most possible meat inclusion. Origen, Acana and Rawz dog and cat foods have the most meat that I am aware of. The percentages are as high as 90 percent. You should try to include as much meat possible even if it's leftover scraps, muscle meat is around 70% water so to keep your dogs liver healthy and to help prevent urinary tract infections you should try to include muscle meat as often as possible as well as the stomach also known as tripe along with organ meat for a balanced diet.
I know this vid is 2yrs old but I'll ask anyways. What do u think of Inukshuk dog food?
