  My concern is that the mud won't properly flush at the outside edges. Is that a problem at all? I'd like to get 1 but not sure...

  Your skill on stilts AMAZES me. I had mine on for the first time in 9 years today to screw off part of my ceiling . A bit nerve wracking . So the swirls will appear under the paint ? I've never heard of a swirl texture. In Alaska you would be a Skookum lady !!! Super Impressive !

  I have spent the last half hour looking through videos to try to find out if I could span the gap on a vaulted ceilings peak with one of these products. I appreciate that you mentioned that one of these products is suitable for large gaps. If I had used regular mud to prefill, it would have fallen out. And if I had used hot mud, I most likely would have damaged my ability to make the strait flex or no code or whatever I use straight. I ended up using no coat, spanning a large gap. Hopefully it's good.
