Reason: Lazy and they're also angry that people like their old franchises more than they like they new crap they're pushing out. They're jealous of the indie devs so instead of focusing on making amazing games like they used to, they're putting minimal effort into their work and hoping their reputation will carry them. They're trying to also make smaller games and new IP but it's failing because just like a corpse can't get pregnant and give birth, a dying game company can't breathe life into a new franchise with a personality and a soul when that company has already lost the last vestiges of its own soul to corporate greed.

Obviously the new animations are super high quality thanks to the technology and what not but from an art design perspective it does a poor job representing P3s unique aesthetic and atmosphere, making it look more like "Blue Persona 5" which is a bummer.

For anyone curious, you can unsheathe this sword, you just need to find another altar like this one. I found the stone-sheathed sword in some random catacombs, don’t remember if it was on an altar or not, and when I brought it here I instead got the option to unsheathe it, getting the sword of darkness. From what I understand, there’s three altars, one has the sword, and the other two are used to unsheathe it, turning it into the sword of light or darkness, depending on which of the other two altars are used. Correction: You can actually change between the sword of light and the sword of darkness, just go to the altar of whichever sword you want, and you can swap out for the sword you want.

Iirc fes had removed weapons from vanilla it seems but I was unaware mc still had some of them. As originally mc could use every weapon other than aegis because obviously that'd be physically impossible and I think doggos. He could use Yukari alihiko mitsuru Ken and Shinjiros (junpei and mc already shared 2h swords)

I also wonder if there's a mod that add and improves holstering almost since release of the game? If it not obvious from the tone - i fucking hate when people bash on F4 or any game for non-issues just to get clicks and views.
