  even with a 30' Chris craft this canal was a nightmare. It was worth the time to go the other way to the Manasquan inlet

  what a stupid behavior... one of the worst i've ever seen... not being able to ride a jetski, to recover it in the waves... they even manage to crash it on the rocks, thinking it would be a good idea !!! stupid is still a light word.

  NEWs ALERT >> > this wasn't a classic case of Boats against the Inlet ...... evidentially they had a leak and/or a pump failure but it was the inlet since they made it a mile offshore. All that said, I wish you guys would look into these rare cases where you saw them go out & just follow up w/ the Tow/Salvage guys to learn what actually happened & Tell all your followers? Am I asking too much? probably

  Bow riding is dumb, bow riding without a life jacket is stupid. Both are dangerous. When if the USCG, I tried to educate people on this. Some I took to a hospital others I put them in a body bag.

  Before they replaced the smooth sidings with rippled steel siding, the canal was much worse. I remember one time my V8 driven boat could not pass under the old bridge due to the fast current.

  I rented a pontoon boat, and my wife had two heavyset friends, and they both wanted to sit in the front as we exited the inlet. The nose of the boat went into the ocean, and the engine came up out of the water, never rented a pontoon boat again.
