  This was before Black Widow got buffed. With enough time you will learn how to parry. Shields are really good because you dont need to perfect parry to block.

  There is something that just seems off about the camera movement it usually looks pretty snappy in the most tas runs ive seen, where as this runs camera movement is smooth. Still incredible though!

  Probably because it's still me playing! Any amount of randomness means you can't run the same inputs every time, so it's about as tool assisted as a Grounded can get without just using console commands to spawn items in or whatever. More explanation in description

  Just keep following the quest right up until you have to start the defence (so after repairing the mix.rs and talking to Wendell again) and the door should be open. Might be a step or two before that it actually opens, not 100%, but it's def tied to the main quest

  Yeah the fight could still be improved slightly in a few places, mostly cancelling a throw by trying to throw the next one too early. Pretty clean overal though!

  If you've never speedrun any game before I would start with wolf spider speedruns (black widow is a bit too intense since 1.3) and gradually go to longer and longer runs. So wolf runs, then try all four super chips run or even just single lab speedruns (I did hedge in 7 minutes), then assistant manager, broodmother, then any% and beyond. I was so lost when I first tried broodmother runs, really struggled to remember what I needed at each step and kept forgetting stuff. One thing that really helped me on the broodmother run for example was to do a practice run and set clover markers at each point on the run so I knew exactly where to run at each stage. Also check Grounded out on speedrun.com cause there's a couple guides on there and some save files you can use that have good bug loot guaranteed (I can explain the set save thing more if you want)

  The macros can only help so much like with the door launches, giving up and spamming E to pick stuff up and build, everything else is still down to my execution. So the run is still assisted by tools, just not to the level of a Trackmania tas or something

  I believe you set it all up in Creative with Bugs or Custom with Quests, then changed all the settings back to normal and Supertoasted the REMIX.R. That’s what makes sense to me, at least.

  I did everything legit in this world actually! It was my main save I started in 1.3. I didn't show the saves at the end but it still says singleplayer medium and not singleplayer custom or creative. Wanna do NG+3 run at some point with telepotties set up so might spawn in some cones for that. Then next would be NG+5 so I could use infused weapons, but the only difference between that and the NG+3 run would be infused weapons so not sure I'll even do that tbh
