Humble Vet talks about Guns, God, and keeps things on the Sunnyside. I don’t generally run around in tactical gear unless it’s to make you laugh. I don’t pretend to know it all. I have no sponsors and don’t care if I ever make money. Just a po’ boy having fun.

Amazing message! Thank you for stepping up and sharing it!
@@paulblackburn2929 so glad you took the time to hear it.
U seem like u r knowledgeable in firearms do u know if there’s a 22LR binary trigger I could alter to fit the GSG16-22? Thanks
@@SounDiZLife I have not seen one yet. I have a homemade binary in a AR22 that works great
I was installing one yesterday before I went to work and mines was failing hope this work when I get home
@@ZA-greedy Hope so to. I have fixed two this way. From the comments it looks like other people were able to fix it this way as well.
Just got one of these and I can barely see anything even on max illuminators. Pitch black dark past 10 yards even in the house.
@@justinadams543 I started having the same issue. There is a micro switch that does something in there with the IR filter…. I smacked mine and got it working.
I want one !!! 😀
Great video Caleb. For some reason I had the need to come watch it again today.
Hope to se you at the reunion buddy.
@@HumbleVet I'm not sure if I can make it. I'm backed up at my shop and only have weekends to work there.
Boo… I understand though
Bro that rail is real, it’s made by ARMS inc.. and it’ll run ya about a grand
Those aren't cheese balls 11:26. Though both addicting.
My kids stopped eating cheese balls and now my supply of storage containers has ceased.
I am having this issue-maybe not the specific IDS issue-on the HK-C1. Do you know if it could be related to a faulty IDS spring as well? If the spring isn’t creating the necessary tension, might that contribute to “falling out” of binary?
Each version of the Franklin triggers are different so I really couldn’t say. So far I have only had my hands on the AR and PC9 triggers
@@HumbleVet 100% they’re all just a little different, I just didn’t know if a damaged or worn out IDS spring could be the culprit. When I was having issues and disassembled my trigger, my IDS spring looked like it had been crimped, possibly from my reassembly, but it was intermittently working in binary. I like your idea about the hammer pushing the IDS back into semi-auto. That seems like the fundamental symptom, just a question of the cause. I’ll check my hammer when I get a chance and report back. Needless to say, customer service in Nevada isn’t the greatest…
Imagine having an Bufferless BCG with this Upper Receiver with this side charger along with a Gas Piston Kit would be a hell of a “AR15” if done right/tuned correctly…..it’s basically like having a homemade Sig Sauer MCX Spear LT, the good thing is that it’s not as tall as the Spear and probably has a lower Bore Axis as well
Might as well just get the Sig Spear or a BRN-180. I have both. They’re awesome.
Thank you. Your video saved the day.
You are very welcome. I was looking at how many views this video had today. Assuming that 1/4 of the viewers need to watch this video because they have one that doesn’t work….17,000 views. That’s a lot of junk triggers.
MERICA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U.S.A.1
Great info. Thanks mate!
Glad it was helpful
Awesome dude video.
Is anyone patrolling the community?
This is ISP. They’ll lose their jobs if they disobey king Pritzker
THANK YOU!!! Solved my problem perfectly. I actually moved a functioning BFSIII from one to another and it went from working fine to not working after moving it. Watched your video and took a close look - yep hammer was hitting. I actually elected to pull the hammer instead of the trigger assembly because it’s easier and don’t have to take apart and reassemble the trigger. About 30 seconds work on a belt sander took about 1/8 off the hammer spur. Put back in and BAMMO! You the man! Great video and info!!
Awesome. Glad I could help.
Actually not bad group considering the trigger. I put a rock river varmint trigger in mine and made a big difference, 5/8 inch 3 shot groups at 100 yds. 100 percent reliable
who that song by?
Just a free song on the IMovie app
It doesn't seem to have much splash back from the IR light.
I would recommend night operators max 2.0, they have a 940nm ir length and its very dim, thats the one i would recommened
The prowl has 940 AND 850 you can swap between
Look up night operators and you will see@@MikeTyson-il5gn
Nah the prowl is better
I just purchased two of these and bridged them together. Theyre not the best units but as youve shown, they definitely work.
For the price I can’t complain. I’ll have a video coming in the near future of me putting it to the test. Should be fun.
can you remove the cap at the front for viewing? If so does it work well?
Thanks for the video!
You’re welcome. This so far has been my favorite drop in for the money.
Great message! Very inspiring!
VLTOR at shot show 2024 says “CASV is coming back for sure”. Had MLOK models on display at their booth.
I have two.. they don’t offer FDE anymore tho.. the new ones are black and ODG
Thanks for the video n thanks for the shirt pointing to Gods word. Great hearing a Christian man that loves our Lord!🙏🏻
I'd like what you had to say at the end and thanks for all the information
Where in IL
Decatur
I had the same issue with my trigger. I installed a geissele ssa-e. Also, that Winchester white box is horrible in my 716i tread. Mine prefers the 168 gr bullets.
So I'm getting short bursts after trying to clean up burrs.. i bought the thing second hand , is something missing?
That’s a new one…. I have not encountered that issue yet. Seems like something is sticking to cause that though. I’ll have to think on it.
Thank you Sir. I'll keep notifications on
I have the two toned one sig tread snakebite I think it’s what it’s called in 308. I think it has an upgraded trigger because mine feels great.
Do you think a little lube might help? SC navy vet. 🇺🇸😊
Bring doughnuts and don't look them in the eye.
I bought the rise 535 for my 716 also picked up the surefire warcomp and warden blast deflector just waiting on shipping hope it all works well together 🤞
I'm running a 8 oz buffer and standard carbine spring in a Spikes lower with Endo Mags and it runs perfectly with my hot JHP. handloads...
I definitely need to up my buffer weight. Runs fine with an echo…. Not so much with an Alamo-15 forced reset. It’s belches and out runs itself
Amen brother!
Saw one for the first time yesterday. Ordered one today.
Did you order the new forged upper? I’m going to have to grab one.
Great catch
When you were at the show there were at least 100 ATF and FBI undercover there and nearby taking your picture and filling their facial recognition database of potential terrorists. Surveilled and guilty until proven innocent or dead.
I have no issues with jamming on AR 9 compared to 22 caliber AR
Can someone help me? I installed mine not too long ago, binary works fine in function test. But in semi, it functions as binary still.
First place to check is the tiny spring installed inside the two disconnects. If that is missing or not in place this could be your problem. Second check your safety’s engagement. The safety should keep the binary disconnect from sliding back into binary mode. Third the rough surface finish on the metal may also be an issue. Polishing may help.
@@HumbleVet I’ll be taking a look at that today. Thank you!
Surprise surprise. And how many uc atf vehicles? Lol
“Basically a knife and bracelet show at this point”,I still can’t stop laughing. As an Illinoisan I will attest at this point in 2023 it’s basically what it’s come to. Makes me sad and not want to live in the state.
I’ve had mine for a year. I upgraded to the Apollo Max Muzzle break virtually no recoil and upgraded trigger assembly as well added the Sig Sauer Buckmasters 3-12x44mm scope with range finder. Amazing shot groups at 100yds. I don’t use the steel case ammo only brass.
And the US wasnt taken in a political coup. Nope. Definately not people.😮
Would obviously been nice if you had learned to talk so you could tell us a little bit about that particular binary trigger
Smdh this is trash, won't be going to one in Illinois..... Appreciate the video brother
Please explain, were the cops inbmonitoring the show? Were they there just in case? Were they secretly operating the stands? We have a few gun shows here in Australia, it is also mostly knives and militaria, the cops usually just have a stand there and patrol. Not saying what we have is desirable, never give up your guns. Ever.
What happened is the State of Illinois passed a law banning just about everything fun in the realm of firearms. The Governor has forced the State police to enforce his new law as local police have vowed not to. So it appears for now gunshows within the state are more like a sting operation trying to catch parking lot sales, and dealers with banned goods.
Yea that's why I'm a proud floridian lmao
Both Franklin Armory and Echo are gouging the hell into us for their binary trigger kit. All across the internet the BFS III is average of 380.00 (thats even at a sale price) and dont forget to add sales tax and shipping costs to that. Echo's binary trigger costs even more.
I agree that the price is absurd. At least the Echo works though. It’s a novelty trigger. Pay to play. At that price there shouldn’t be any significant issues.
@@HumbleVet and you hit the nail dead square on the head. For the price theyre charging us, theyre shouldnt be ANY problems with their triggers
Great review, Thank you..
