🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 *Saphir, an Italian photogrammetry software, has evolved into a comprehensive tool for 3D modeling and data analysis, offering features like efficient point cloud management and image masking.* 01:47 *Zephyr's workflow involves starting a new project and launching the alignment process before importing images, with options for online precomputed camera calibration.* 03:33 *Users can easily add images from various formats and assign camera and lens information, facilitating the processing of aerial imagery.* 07:50 *After alignment, Zephyr displays a grid indicating the successful reconstruction of images into a sparse point cloud, providing a visual confirmation of alignment quality.* 10:15 *Detailed information about each image, including resolution, position, and camera specifications, can be accessed and edited within Zephyr.* 14:34 *Control points can be added either based on known image features or directly on camera positions, enabling precise georeferencing of the model.* 17:29 *Users can assess the quality of reconstruction by overlaying selected images onto the point cloud, revealing areas with sufficient image coverage for accurate modeling.* Made with HARPA AI

Thank you for your illuminating videos. How do I set the scale of the model in Metashape? My models are made from images that have no GPS data points. And I need to scale the model to match the life-size of the model, how do I do that? Also, I need to align my model to the right coordinates, I noticed when I import the model into Recap Pro the model is not aligned with the XYZ coordinates!

Hello, we have a question regarding two software packages. We processed our point cloud data in LiDAR360 but need to edit it in Cloud Compare because the resulting contour lines contain errors. These errors are attributed to the flight height and the density of vegetation. We exported our LiDAR data file, including the classified terrain, to LAS/LAS format for use in Cloud Compare, but we're unable to visualize the Z-height. Are there any specific conversions or steps we should follow to visualize the Z-height properly?

So much better than SPH's own videos! I've just started with Ugcs and I have an issue with controlling the altituded. I can put in a GSD that shows an AMSL of 142 m and an AGL of 14 m but the drone still takes off up to 190 m altitude when executing the mission. Any advice on what I'm missing?

This is why no one use this shitty software. every time you try a new alignment you have to extract keypoint again! If you work with a large project like 10000+ photos, you are fked. BTW it doesn‘t allow save project before RUN the alignment process, if anything goes wrong like computer lost power, you go through all the loading photos\import constrain\change settings etc AGAIN! totally retarded software logic, I hope the devs learn something from Metashape

Wouldn`t you save the same amount of time if you also clip the decimal places? Like in your cloud you have 7 digits. I dare to say for this specific project 2 decimal places instead of 7 (1cm accuracy) would be quite enough. So you save 15 digits in total for xyz...
