Where are you? Everyone waiting for the conclusion of the course, which by the way was the best I've seen on the net.

I really enjoy your tutorials as a new user of Agisoft. I would really appreciate it if you could do one regarding using markers to align chunks within the typical drone topography survey space.

Metrical - Thanks for the great videos, you are answering many questions I have had that the agisoft forums have not covered. Question: when I optimize cameras midway after pointing out several markers, the software seems to randomly select camera parameters that I have not previously selected, i.e. if I select f, cx, cy, k1, k2, k3, p1, p2 (my typical optimization parameters) and perform an optimization, then point out a few more markers, the next time I optimize cameras different parameters will be automatically selected by agisoft so I have to reset them back to the original ones. Do you know why agisoft does this? Is it suggesting something to me based on the selected parameters that come up? Also - could you explain what adaptive camera model fitting option does in the optimize cameras tool? Thanks again for all the wonderful material!!

Hi metrical, very nice video. You explained well so much things!! So, I have question for you - how did you get those table with coordinates, and rotations of images, and also with the coordinates of markers (on the left side of screen)? I'm using version 1.5 PRO, and I don't exactly know how to enable to view these things, please help me to figure this out!! 🤔

Thank you for this really good tutorial =) But what a cliffhanger - I waited for the part about importing coordinates to the control points, which would be the next step after setting the points. Maybe in the next video?

Thanks for really good tutorial. I was exploring Agisoft Metashape but stuck up at the very beginning. I added photographs keeping default coordinate system. Its fine all camera positions in place. But the moment i convert coordinates in WGS84 UTM Zone 43, the results are not ok. The easting and northing values are interchanged. Further if I add markers, they are ok and falling at right place in the model where as the images and markers are far far apart Kindly guide

Why would you not Import your known points first, then just filter photos by marker? Would seem to be much faster for large data sets.

Hi, as you said that the camera position coordinates are not accurate, why you still included the camera position? Would they bring wrong information to the alignment process? Would not including them and directly going for GCPs and check points a better option? I am encountering a similar issue: the camera positions are not accurate, especially altitude. İ am not sure if I should still import them from the Reference. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi Metrical. Nice video. I hope you can make a video regarding importing ground control points and gives us some tips about it. I don´t know if you have had the experience of flying on high terrains because I have had the opportunity of working in these conditions and I found that the altitude registered by the drone does not match with the GCP's that I took. I used a Mavic 2 pro. Casually, do you know why this happens ?. Regards!

@@huyleang8018 Hi, after studying this topic, I found that the version of this drone registered the altitude based on atmospheric pressure, something that is not accurate regarding this condition. For this reason, I adjusted this altitude using GCPs taken with a GNSS station and then, I process this information in the software to obtain the orthomosaic.

I have a csv file with marker locations. How do I add these locations to my project? The markers aren't easily viewable in my photos so I would like to just simply add the csv file to my project but I'm currently unable to do so.
