Hi, enjoying the videos, I would suggest you offer a starter brush kit for the absolute beginner. I airbrush models and got a cheapy from Amazon and it serves me well for what I'm doing. If I really get into the airbrushing art side I will buy items you recommend. But as I say, for the small home modeller I'd consider offering a review on something more affordable. Cheers,

Wow,thought I was the only painter with this issue. For me the bi-polar part is what I have the hardest time with, and having no time to finish the things I have to do, the way it's stuck in my head to do. My old lady had a drug over dose and passed away the very night I had picked her up from 3 months of rehab she passed away at the motel we were staying at, while me and our 5 yr old boy watched tv,she was in the bath tub. Anyways, it absolutely fried my mind to the point were I was put on a small truck load of meds I stayed in my house hiding from everyone for a little over 2 years. I'm doing better now, 4 years later, you seem like a pretty cool guy,a few words of advice from me would be to be very careful with meds. Best thing I did for myself was to get away from them and your right, pot is very helpful . I smoke quite a bit every day. Its a good thing. I hope you get the right help, from the right person,I'm semi retired so I work from home now if I'm not sleeping th day away so feel free to get I'm touch if you need to talk about this stuff, I would be happy to help if I can. I have a couple questions about my seals on my brushes, I m only use GSI Creos. Any how have a good day & I really hope you get to feeling better soon. Gary Sherwood

We both survived however ended up in wheelchairs. My son has cerebral palsy while I'm a paraplegic so I serious need to sign up for a doctor but I keep procrastinating. Thx for the video.

Hi! I’m not a regular to the channel but my dad watches your videos and sent this to me today. I was diagnosed as an adult last year and he said your video helped him to understand a bit better what I struggle with (so thank you). I haven’t got all the way through the video yet but before I inevitably forget or get distracted I thought I’d share a bit about my experience getting diagnosed as you asked for some information. I’ve got loads to talk about on the subject so if you do need any further info then let me know and I’ll be happy to talk you through anything if it helps. I understand what it’s like trying to work it all out and lots of what you’ve said absolutely rings true for me. In terms of my experience, I was diagnosed at 30 via the ‘right to choose’ scheme - it’s a free route where you pick a provider, book a docs appointment, get a referral to provider and then they set up an assessment call. You go through diagnosis with them and then if diagnosed they’ll talk you through treatment options, which can include medication. They’ll then titrate you onto an appropriate one if medication is the route and send you your prescription in the post (at least with who I chose) monthly. You also have weekly check ins where they check blood pressure and weight and mental health when going through the process so you have someone monitoring. I chose psychiatryUK for my right to choose (if you just google psychiatryuk right to choose then it’ll show you a web page with information). The timing for me was October 2022 realised I likely had it, November doctors appointment where you explain why you think you have give them a right to choose letter to complete and send on to the chosen provider if they agree to (the right to choose pages on provider websites usually have info to give doctors on why they can refer you as some aren’t aware of it). January 2023 acknowledgement of request, June 2023 diagnosis (ADHD combined hyperactive and inattentive) and then November 2023 I started titration. I’ve tried several medications since then but have recently agreed on one that suits me best. My experience to date has found some types help with some things and some help with others, for example one was great for focus but terrible for impulse and mood regulation and didn’t affect eating, but the one I’ve settled on isn’t as good for focus but massively helps with overwhelm, calming those thoughts a bit, mood regulation and impulse but my appetites been awful and I struggle to get to sleep - you’ll likely find positives and negatives for any but it’s about looking for the best overall quality of life improvement. I’m still working my ADHD out, the tablets aren’t a fix all but they definitely help with giving you a bit more mental space to help and look after yourself a bit better. It’s not been a quick journey with right to choose but quicker than the standard nhs route, free (the nhs pays the providers) and although private is quicker it’s also quite expensive and a significant regular financial commitment to consider. Additionally there are medication shortages which seem to be affecting all types of patients so it’s not always the easiest route either. ADHD is honestly a wild ride but there’s a huge community of people to fall back on for support if you need it, half the help for me was having an official diagnosis so I had, not an excuse for any behaviour, but some rationale for why I might have done things differently and an understanding about how I could react or adapt to do things differently. When I was first looking and considering I made a Reddit account and joined some of the threads on there like r/ADHD r/ADHDUK and then some specific medication ones so I could read people’s stories and experiences - it really helped. Anyway I dread to think how long this comment is or even if you’ll see it - but I hope you realise you aren’t on your own and there is absolutely some rest-bite or light at the end of the tunnel for this. Thanks again for the video and making the topic accessible - if you’d like to chat about experiences or anything then send me some instructions for how I message not in a 10,000 word comment! 😂 (absolutely no idea how to work KZread!)

I’ve been diagnosed with MDD and put on antidepressants. But I also have all of your symptoms apart from the anger issues. But always felt so much anxiety. I’m also dyslexic which also points towards adhd. But in Australia it’s very hard to get diagnosed as an adult with adhd. They need school reports etc. I don’t know why they make it so difficult. I’m so happy that you have finally figured your condition out.
