Thanks for showing Roger People who have these type of machines with Nylon gears must understand that they have them as a safety for the Novice/beginners meaning if you get jammed up the gears or cogs can break instead of burning out the motor or circuit and so on for the more advanced user then you can buy metal gears and cogs to upgrade Also to say the Nylon parts cost almost the same as metal parts so its not about making cheap for production, but to help the armature be safe

thank you this clears some stuff up. the one I am attempting to replace is for a vacuum. This would be my first vfd replacement ever. the VFD from the OEM already setup is $1500, but, I can get a new one not setup for 250. and there is an identical one next to the broken one and is working.

Thanks for this, pretty important to have that earth if something goes wrong. Had a look at that shiny Sainsmart one thats around 159 and it does have an earth on the power connector. Also it uses er11 collets so should have more compatibility .

I'm in the process of making a manual bridgeport style mill into a cnc. I'm almost into the wiring process. Have to order all of the electronics for it still. Thinking of mach 4 because in the future I will want to run 5 axis. My question is how bad are the glitches

Re: aluminium - the patron should check if it cuts with no lateral movement i.e. does it drill with the bit? Secret to aluminium: single flute, up cut, cutting fluid, ramping. I built a large CNC doing this on my Heiz S400, a great machine but nowhere near as beefy as the Queen ant

Thank you Roger for your video. I've worked with HEL's since 1973. I even got to play with ones used in the "Star Wars" projects (ABL). But I never had a chance to do any design of a fiber laser system. Please answer me this. Is the fiber used in the amplifier doped, and if so with what? What are the amplifier's absorption and emission frequencies? The oscillator laser diode operates at what wavelenght? Do you have any energy level diagrams and the timing and energy levels that are involved. Thank you very much for your time and help. Mike J.

Great! Speaking from personal experience, I've been utilizing the Monport laser machine for several months now, and it's been a game-changer for my projects. Its user-friendly interface and reliable performance have made laser engraving a breeze. If you're considering investing in a laser machine, I highly recommend giving Monport a try.

Hi, i had the best result of color marking on Steel and stainless Steel with my JPT Mopa M7 100W if i use the following parameters: Frequency 800kHz, Speed 2.000mm/s, Power 10 to 25%, Q-Puls 15ns, Hatch 0.0005 to 0.01mm. I use a 210mm Focus Lens. Color Marking into Focus.

Have you ever had a chisel take off like a bullet? I have a Norfolk Pine that we will be having cut down soon and I am thinking about buying a lathe and giving it a go, but I have already had a router bit from a router table whistle past my head so it is a concern. But apparently Norfolk Pine can make some awesome bowls and not a very common wood to find.

I have a collection of focus T's cut on my 80W CO2, one for each lens 110, 175, 220, 300 for the Fiber and 110 & 220 for the UV. I have a couple of others for specific lenses for things like Z-Mark on stainless as well. The 300mm lens on the fiber is pretty darn long, but what I tend to do is cut them 5mm longer than I want, and then once I follow the same procedure as you did in this video,. I use my bench grinder to slowly shorten the focus stick to be the exact length needed - that way any errors in cutting, even by just a mm or two, is negated. Oh and then I can label them on the UV so they look nice and pretty too lol
