1965 Buick Electra 225 convertible. My dad founded in a field and brought it back to life.. baby metallic blue, white top, 425 Wildcat . My dad loved the car! He was diagnosed with cancer in 2000. He was very close to the end when we realized he and the Buick Electra were missing.. he was very sick and very weak at the time. Believe it or not, he had taken the car on a drive to a nearby town and had Boise Muffler in Boise Idaho install a dual exhaust for him. Even during his worst days he still found solace in that car! Unfortunately, after my father passed, there was very little insurance, so my mother put the car for sale.. unfortunately, as always, the guy who bought the car smelled blood in the water and knew she was desperate . He walked away with my dad's pride and joy for 2750. The car was not in perfect condition but it was beautiful the transmission had been completely rebuilt, had a brand new motor in it, new paint, new tires and new exhaust. Certain types of people will take advantage of anybody in any situation no matter how gross and despicable their actions are! I always wished I would come across my father's beloved car and buy it back.. from what I can find out, the guy took the car directly to the auction and ended up selling it for $15,000 the following month..
Why do all these videos have sissy girly sounding dudes talking way too fast and in a very annoying voice? Odd
Cool car! There are a couple for sale at a dealer in northern IL. BTW , it's pronounced Bee-uh-RÌTZ with a gentle roll of the "r". It's a French city.
Man that sounds good😊

I have a serious question. I have a Crown Vic 2009 P71. Exhaust system is stock 2in pipes with H-Pipe behind Cat. I want to mount 2 Flowmaster Straight through 71415 FlowFX behind H-pipe. Already have the mufflers. but have asked many on here for advice. No one bloody answers me. Should I reconnect the Flowmaster to the remaining stock pipe or should I go bigger? Flowmaster pipe diameter is 2,5in so I have to do a step up to fit it to stock. And step down to fit stock behind muffler
@19:01 What Satan sounds like before he's had his coffee
OMG it’d be epic if you did an exhaust on that.
My first car was a used 1980 Buick Regal. It was like driving a couch. I miss it.
Nice! Any systems for an Audi MK1 TT?
Dang 3 motors destroyed. My dad's jeep had that happen which is frustrating since it's a 2015 jeep grand Cherokee with a v6 which was nutorias for engine issues 3 motors and is at 150,000 miles. Never had brake work only oil changes
Please explain an anti-reversion chamber
We’ve done a whole video dedicated to it. You should check it out, but it’s not a must on an exhaust, more of a fancy option that’s takes a bunch of tuning.
@@FluidMotorUnion can you share a link?
Nailed it ❤
OJ is amazingly smooth on video.
this is exactly who i want working on my car
20+ yrs ago i scored an ‘81 like this for $300….it only had like 35k mi and the trans fluid was low…old man parked it and just forgot about it…bought a new car and i guess his wife wanted her driveway spot back….i had always drove by and would ask if it was for sale with no luck……but the day the wife was out there my luck had changed greatly….to the tune of $300 get it outta here today!!!! …living here in ca. the car was tits….no rust or any blemish rips nothing…this was a senior citizen owned car that at the time was around 20yrs old and well cared for….it was a light powder mettalic blue and it had dark blue leather with the stainless top…..we hooked it up to a tow dolley but when we got 2 or 3 blocks away we topped of the tranny fluid and drove it home with zero problems….i gave it a simple plugs rotor wires tune up and drove it for a couple years after that with no issues at all….untill my lil brother got it impouded for driving it on a suspeneded liscence…..ughhhh…at the time i was young and broke, so paying the fee after a 30 day hold for a $300 car just wasnt gonna happen……now if it happened today with the money i have now…yes in a heartbeat id pay the fee and get it out…..but these are the lessons we have to learn in life!!!……i owned 2 more like this over the years but they were no where near as nice as that $300 car that i was stalking for all those years….and now 20 something years later i have another TITS immaculate caddilac that has literally 5x the amount of HP…..yes i own a cts-v…..it always comes full circle and i remember as a child back in the 70’s and 80’s everyone and i mean EVERYONE in my family drove a caddy , aunts uncles grandparents mom dad….all of em’…….altough one aunt had the big ‘77 eldorado and at the same time had 3 other lincoln mk4’s…..she lived in bakersfield ca. had a habit of somehow losing cars to the trains on the traintracks without the drop down gates….she even lost a mazda miata to the trains….but yeah she lost 2 of the ‘73 lincoln mk4 or 3 whatever they were that year….she always had to have a ‘73 lincoln mk4….i remember going into one of the barns on her property and walking in seeing literal lincolns broke into half…..yeah she was that oddball aunt that was and still is a hoarder cat lady….millions of dollars and hoarding dont do well together folks….its actually very disturbing…..but yeah they all had caddy’s……and im literally the last and only one in the family still honoring that tradition……only cause their all dead now…….
this sounds so damn good! the thrumpet part, what pipe diameter does it go to? from 3,5'' upp what sice then back to 3.5''?
Beautiful car! 👍👍
Cool car🇺🇸🇩🇰🏁😎
We think so too!
OJ is there a good way or best way to do a straight pipe? Not just the content from this video but things that may need to be considered to combat not having a muffler/resonator
This is such a cool car, I would actually love one. 👍🏻
But it’s still a pos ford
My uncle had one that looked like that but it had a diesel engine in it?
The diesel caddy’s are very rare but they are out there…..i would love to have one myself…particularly one of the ‘76-‘78 sevilles or a ‘80-‘84 big body full size rwd fleetwood ….then i would rip out the anemic oil burner and drop a 408” LS stroker in it!!!!….only cause i live in commiefornia…..if i was in any other state id have a LS swapped late 70s seville or early 80s fleetwood……someday when i escape this liberal utopia/nightmare!!!!
When I was in my early twenties I worked on a boat load of them and Toronado’s. Easiest stuff to wrench on and if you lived where there was no emissions you could run a test pipe and eliminate the cat.
Nice!
Dead on accurate with the state of colors and originality of vehicles these days. I'm not a dodge fan, but they have some fun colors on their performance lines
Final/second thought. Love the variety of content (vehicles) BUT maintaining the same level of enthusiasm.
Thanks!
WOW, great video. Blast from the past with than early 80s Caddi. My grandparents had them to include diesel, V8-6-4 and 85 Seville, the slantback; then they switched over to Mercedes in 1987
Algorithm comment 👍
Ty Ty
I agree. A well-maintained older car is automatically cool.
😎
Ur videos are amazing
Thanks!
I rode in an all original 427 cobra in 1980 across the Confluence dam in Pa It was my neighbor's grandfather's car. Back then it was cool, but now It's really cool! Lol. If I knew then what I know now about the car! Lol
‘84 AMC Eagle. All original parts and setup. Already runs quiet even in 4x4. How would adding a second pipe effect performance and sound? Could I make it even quieter without cutting power?
OMG that car is squeakkkkkky clean! 🧼
Scrub a dub dub 🧽
"the vulgarities of aggressive motoring" ..... I love it!!
Haha
What a trip down memory lane 😮
#neverforget
Growing up, we had an oldsmobile toranado that was a big v8 front wheel drive, two door vehicle. It was huge and would roast the front tires effortlessly.
I had a 1986 Fleetwood Brougham in 1999. It was like riding on a cloud and that huge AC compressor helped it blow literal frosty cold air on a 95 degree Florida summer day. I miss that beautiful blue old Caddy!! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Thanks for sharing and you’re welcome!
My grandma had that same ‘86 fleetwood but in silver with red velvet interior…..i remember her purposely setting out for that velvet cause she didnt want hot sticky leather in the summer and cold hard leather in the winter!!! ….she passed around 3 yrs ago…i wanted to keep her car but my wife wasnt havin any of it seeing how we already have 7 cars
I watched your entire video and alot of your points really resonated with me however now I am exhausted so I've decided not to hang around.
Unsure if this is a great dad joke or a real statement… 😆
@@FluidMotorUnion Pun. 37 years high quality custom exhausts here. Nice quality work there!
Great video Professor, down to earth something we can relate to, great content, thanks
Thanks!
E63 because AMG!
Oh man. Wish I could have experienced those seats. Blessed be thy cheeks.
I miss my moms GTP 40th Grand Prix and her 04 Mach 1 Mustang
😮
😊
That's clean ...
Isn’t it?!
I have a 1987 Lincoln Town car that is a rust bucket... We live in GA so that should tell you something about an IL car that isn't a rust bucket.
@@FluidMotorUnion Quick question are all of the exhaust systems you guys build one offs? Or do you have a template and can build something that will fit a make and a model and then just install it after the system is completed?
Go to our website - Send us an email and we can work something out for you… thanks!
@_illtal depends on the demand. We have more than a few jigs. When I tell people we’re a small business, I mean it, we don’t have a budget to invest in having product sit on shelves, so we develop that way. Hoping that the KZread exposure will allow us into a place where we can really push our craft, and make things people really love in an efficient manner, but as of now it’s 95% one-offs.
Love the videos fmu!
Thanks! We’re gonna keep em coming!
Straight pipe with no cat and muffler all day every day 😅😅
Frustration? I'd have to say ground clearance issues with the general design I'd like to do.
Make it sound awesome!
great vid!!! Thank you
Cool BUT at the end of the video you should have started up the cars!!!
