How lifted is too lifted?

I have the same truck but black on black and its a 2500hd duramax….it has 37” tires with a 9”cst lift…..and at times i feel even thats too much….but with my bad back its wayyyy easier to climb into my truck than to crawl into a low sports car!!!……..that truck is beautiful but that gas engine and transmission is going through hell with those big heavy wheels and tires and truly wish the owner the best of luck on keeping it alive and well!!!!

Not my cup of tea but I appreciate how much thought goes into putting them together. At least it still somewhat functional unlike those with the Carolina squat 😂

You know, '22-up Tahoe PPV O.E Brembo 6piston brake calipers, brake pads, 16' rotors will bolt right up & improve braking. I did this mod to my '06 Yukon Denali.

No you have to use the ppv rotors. Rockauto has everything you will need to do the upgrade for around $1200

Mallcrawler or not, Kryptonite is serious stuff. I run their full front end package on my off-road race truck.

Lifted trucks isn’t “divisive “. However, if you look at “squatted” trucks, someone will end up with hurt feelings or a bloody nose. 😂 I’m not into “mall crawlers” but, if it makes its owner happy, it makes me happy (for them). I got over the “fart can” exhaust on four cylinder cars, or the four cylinder car guys that spend 20,000 bucks to run similar times to a junkyard LS with a 500 dollar turbo, lowered, raised, hydraulics, advanced auto parts stick on emblems and fuzzy dice, whatever tickles the fancy of its owner.

All the damage to the hub and knuckle is not from moving it around the parking lot. He was driving it that way for a good bit.

I’m in the ‘I don’t get it’ camp on the Mall Crawler vibe, so there is a lot of head scratching on my part during this. Add that to the horrific condition of the components on this 7-8K lb truck, rolling down the highway, next to our loved ones…. Black Ice? Um, OK. Either way, shame on the owner for disregarding the condition of their machine. At least Alex will make it safe and correct.

Owner literally ignores the destroyed brakes for years of course has a crash (black ice my ass), gets a ridiculous suspension and our insurance rates skyrocket.

Brakes were in good condition when the crash happened… and the new suspension and all of the upgrades, I paid for the difference out of pocket to do this, just wanted to clarify for you. Everyone has their own opinions though, and that’s totally fair !

@@orange2352 yeah of course… but I’d rather just inform someone the truth rather than make assumptions and have misinformation… as I’ve said previously, for me, I own 4 vehicles. So this is strictly a toy. Has no other use than just that. I just don’t want people thinking I’m daily driving a death machine down the road and putting people at risk! Thanks for the reply

The truck looks awesome. It’s not something I would personally do but I appreciate the finished product. The detail and work that went into this show truck is incredible. Lifted truck that never sees any offroading is just dumb. Kind of like having 200mph supercar that never sees any track use, and is only to driven at 30mph in the city
