Do you know if this sort of “scars” she has on both sides of her face (from hair line down to the temples) are typical for European side part bubble cuts? Or did all bubble cuts from the same years have them?

Ooh very good question! I am actually not sure.. I’ve seen quite a few variations of the bubble cut with the hairline indentation at the sides. Perhaps they initially traced where they thought the hairline should go and then realized the amount of hair might’ve been too much and just decided to leave the head mold as it is? Who knows..

My doll hobby used to fill my time and it gave me so much joy, but i feel myself not caring about it so much. It all now seems even more frivolous than before. It's not even a thing that i want to do to pass the hours. i don't know why that is, but i understand having your priorities change. It's nice to see/hear from you, but please don't ever feel pressured to put out content for our benefit. We all will be here, whether you take a long hiatus or not.

@@VegasVixen 🤣 if you’re referring to the paint jars, they are really super annoying! You can maybe try jamming them open by sliding in a round knife under the lid and wiggling a bit?

Is there a reason why you went with benzoyl peroxide first and then with developer (hydrogen peroxide)? I read that benzoyl peroxide can really damage vinyl in the long run…

@@HearYourSoulSing benzoyl peroxide is the least harsh of the two so I started off with that and worked my way up to hydrogen peroxide. Honestly benzoyl peroxide is a staple among all doll collectors for stain removals and I’ve never heard of anyone reporting any damage, so I’m not sure where you got that?

My bubblecut doll head is darkened with age. How long do I leave my doll head in the denture tablet water to get lighter? Is it ok to soak for 24 hours. Will it affect the glue that holds the hair in?

What an incredible job you've done! You have inspired me to fix my tanned Gene with articulated wrists. She's all yellowed, but the hands are three tones lighter, as if made of a different material (vinyl?) and faded. Maybe you've encountered this - is the airbrush necessary, or is it possible to dye them? And thanks for your wonderful channel )

Funnily enough it’s super easy to style, just curl it around like a chopstick and it’ll hold its shape. I have no knowledge of any similar fibers, but I’ll definitely look into monofiber!

There is no glue holding the hair in, so you’re good to go :)
