Well I have had this so long and it a really nice gun to shoot. I think I will keep it. They are one of the nicer 38 Smith and Wesson guns out there. I you have never shot one you should get one. So quiet and low recoil compared to 38 special.

@@skswig1 Good to know, my friend! ☺️ And I actually have one of the hammerless ones from around 1905, and just picked up a Smith & Wesson one too. Haven’t got a chance to shoot either one yet, but I really look forward to it. .38S&W seems like quite the pleasurable round for range time.

I have the same revolver only market 926. Everything is the exactly the same. They changed the model number to separate the two models I believe. Just bought the other 925 and it's that 2 1/2" barrel with completely different grips. It doesn't have the little loop behind the trigger guard so you pinch your fingers in there. The addition to the loop or tail was a good move. New England Firearms put it on near all models when they took over H&R.

I've replaced them in every H&R I have. Like you say, if you buy one, count on it. $30.00 plus shipping now, 2024. Easy way to change it, Cock the gun, put a pin in the bottom of the rod, decock it and take the spring and rod out. Put the new one in, cock it, take the pin out and done. I have the same revolver, I think it's a work of art. The piece that goes back off the trigger guard is so you fingers don't get jammed up in between the trigger guard and the grip, SEE 929, 930 model, you'll see.

I came upon this site because I ONLY scan tickets, and I do not try to play them. I hit a $200.00 winner... They could not cash it out because it was very late and their drawer was light... Out of curiosity, I scratched it off to see what hit... I found $150.00 ONLY! After searching for near 30 minutes... It drove me mad... I scanned FL lottery app 2 times. Still could not find that $50.00 extra... Their error on misprint, so I cashed in off barcode.. I believe they should be worth more for the error, but maybe they're not so common...

Coleman is/was based in Wichita, KS. Over the years, several manufacturers were awarded contracts to produce these. Coleman's numbering system called this the 536. The aluminum cases produced by Coleman were stamped C-M. Rogers from Akron, Ohio, SMP(State Machine Products) from Dry Ridge, Kentucky, Aladdin(I believe), Wyott, American Gas Machine(AGM), Fiesta, Bialaddin(UK). I know for a fact that they were still in the US Army supply system in 1990 or so. I was an MLRS launcher chief in Germany at the time and notice an empty storage location in the storage box marked, STOVE. I did some research and found the NSN was still a valid and on the AAL(Additional Authorized List) for the launcher. So I ordered one and it came in to supply in just a couple of weeks. But the supply sergeant liked it so much, he kept it. So I ordered another and it came in and I signed for it this time. As with most gasoline powered appliances, if you read and follow the instructions printed on the side, they will work great. These went away soon after as we were getting HMMWVs in to replace jeeps. The only things still running on MOGAS were lanterns, stoves, M2 burners, Immersion heaters, yukon stoves and generators. There was an admittedly good reason to go to a single fuel (JP-8) for everything. These stoves and milspec lanterns were casualties of that decision. They were NOT designed to "run on anything that burns", though this is a common claim. They were designed to run on any gasoline, leaded or unleaded. I was told by our POL (petroleum, oils, and lubricants specialists) guys that they could order 55gal drum of white gas and tried, but the S4(Supply officer) shot it down. Some times you get lucky, sometime you don't. The JP-8 capable replacement stove was in the works, but so was the draw down of the early 1990s after the Wall came down. I didn't see another military issued stove for quite some time after that. I bought a Feather 400 and a Peak 1 550 and used them through my retirement from the Army. Great stoves that I still use today. It wasn't until I was retired that I found out that they were issuing commercial Coleman 550Bs and later, other models to some units, but was never able to acquire one as it wasn't authorized for us.

I took my to a mechanic and he used a dry wall screw and twisted into it and tried to pull it out that way. The plastic broke off at the screw. A little yellow was still visible, but further down the tube. He did the same thing and it broke off again. That time when it broke off it exposed some of that metal part of the dip stick. Unfortunately that means this method will no longer work because air gets by and no longer forms a tight seal to launch the tube out of there. So if this happens to you the best solutions would be to go directly to this or try the Nissan bulletin and use a shop vac. They should redesign these things. This shouldn't be allowed in cars anymore. Its stupid.
