This is Ren's most abstract song (at least that I have heard), most of his songs are really catchy - I haven't heard one I don't like, and a lot that I love. He does all different genres of music, and they all still have his distinct style to them. He actually recently won #1 album in the U.K. a few months back. He hasn't caught on as much in the U.S., but he just did a song with American rapper Prof, called "Pain Salesmen". And Prof has a pretty large fanbase in the U.S. so hopefully Ren gets more exposure here.

I have to disagree with you fellas on whether Ren will be as famous as you think he will become. I personally think REN will be a household name in the industry in just a short amount of time once word gets out about him. he’s so multi talented and versatile, I don’t see how it’s possible for him to not blow up on the music scene. I personally think he’s incredible and one of the greatest artists in my lifetime. I enjoy your guys reactions, please keep going down his discography. I’m sure in time, you will see the true genius that is Ren. Cheers!

We didn't mean famous as such but referring to any record company interest in general. All "chart music" sounds the same clones of the last female or male vocalist. I think that is the criteria for the big labels and the reason I think they would not be interested in Ren because he doesn't fit the mould for the masses. Ren is recognised today and I think his popularity will increase experientially. Thanks very much for watching and your valued comment. More Ren tomorrow @10:00am

I may not speak for all, but what I think we Renegades are seeing and feeling with these busking videos, that you haven't experienced at this point, is Hi Ren. We've learned through his music and videos, of his personal history, of years of misdiagnosis, pain and suffering. Then leaving home for continued treatments in Canada (went home to the UK 2 weeks ago). Long time fans heard mostly his older catalog, (before his new album came out) where he's still suffering, it lifted our hearts to see him able to resume a life filled with music, to feel free and have fun with the boys busking, which sadly due to leaving for Canada is now finished. It hits us on a deep emotional level knowing his story. His thank you, One Million Subscribers -defining success video is a must see either as a reaction or for yourselves. You get to see his soul. Subbed for more Ren!

There isn't an artist out today that can excel at electric guitar, bass, acoustic, piano, and play a handful of other instruments. As well as sing with a beautiful voice and has a big range and can adapt his style to sound like Sting, Bob Marley, Nirvana, Ozzy and others, or with his own style. He can rap top notch, he is a bardcore storyteller. He beatboxes, he makes most of his own beats, he writes his own music, writes his own lyrics and he does all his sound engineering work, he co-directs his own music videos and he produces all his own music and videos. He is a rare breed that can accomplish all of that. I can't think of anyone else that can do all of that at his level. Ren is just getting started. How can you say..."He won't be big.". He needs to listen to more than a small part of his portfolio before he deems that true. If he means because he won't be a major star because he is staying independent and not joining the big record labels, then he might have a point. Even though he is getting a lot of attention for an independent artist. We are not a CULT following, we are a very passionate BOOK CLUB..😂

I just saw your Hi Ren reaction, and put this journal entry of Ren's as my comment to that reaction. jAN 01, 2023 rEN~ Up until I was 9 years old, I would intermittently hear a voice in my head that was not my own. The voice was distinctly different to mine, and always negative. It would self criticize or urge me to do things I knew to be morally wrong. The most peculiar thing about the voice was that it took no effort on my behalf to produce. My own thoughts always felt like there was a process that required effort to bring them to the forefront of my mind, this voice appeared as though it was spoken by another. The sentences felt predetermined like they had already been constructed. I remember very vividly at 9 years old, becoming very frustrated with the voice. I stood in my back yard, internally screaming at the voice to be silent again and again, and it did. In a flash there was silence, to the point where my head felt like an empty room. I wasn't used to the quiet and that voice never returned. It almost felt lonely in my head. When I got older I had intermittent bouts with auditory hallucinations where I would hear perfect symphonies, usually at night when drifting off to sleep. They were so clear that they sounded like they were emanating from a radio in the corner of my room. I knew they weren't there, but for some reason they never came with the feeling of fear. I also recall sitting on a bus at the age of 15, and hearing the sound of a crowded room, with about 100 voices chattering away, I was the only person apart from the driver on the bus. These experiences were always very brief, and few and far between. My last hallucination was during an intense bout of psychosis in 2015, and was my first visual hallucination. I was walking down a pavement after jumping out my mums car in a crossroads in a moment of frustration and distress with my condition. I was trying to run from myself. What appeared to be a homeless man with a dark complexion approached me, and asked me what was wrong. I explained that I had been sick most my life, and I wasn't sure I had the strength to continue. He looked at me, and smiled and told me 'everything is going to be okay in the end Ren.' I had not told him my name. There was something so overpoweringly sincere about this very simple message, which brought with it an overwhelming feeling of inner peace, and in a flash, he vanished. My rational brain always linked these experiences to what the doctors have told me, that there are parts of my brain compromised by the autoimmunity in my body. That the myelin sheaths surrounding the complex electrical system that conduct my thoughts were damaged and compromised, causing these lucid experiences that I knew did not exist inside the physical world. The part of me that edges away from logical and rational thought always attributed these thoughts to some kind of otherworldly intervention, that made my thoughts the battleground of some spiritual tug of war. For a long time I never really acknowledged this part of myself, for with it brought the danger and stigma of sounding like a crazy person. I decided with my latest release, to the best of my ability, to capture and express this chess match of thought. Hi Ren comes out in just over 24 hours. I can't wait for you all to hear it.

This is the song that blew up on KZread and has 31 million views because pepple connect with that, especially people that have gone through long-term, chronic sickness, but really everyone can relate to this because everybody has this inner battle for different reasons. Let me know if you want me to recommend the best live versions of her top 20 songs, I'd be more than happy to spread her voice and raw musical talent across the world. She does have a Tiny Desk Concert episode. Tash plays around 22 instruments. All of her looping sound picks are ones she laid down on various instruments. Her guitar playing in 2023 got her named Australia's guitarist of the year and she now has her own Strat The bedroom sessions are before she really started doing world tours. Her use of reverb and all the other looping things are so smoothed and perfected at this point.
