Hey everyone!
I've been practicing sleight of hand card magic for a few years now, and I'm just having a good time recording my performances and putting them up for people to enjoy.
I used to:
- perform sleight of hand magic with card game and board game components
- make tabletop game, card game, and board game tutorials, strategy segments, and gaming sessions
- describe some obscure 8-bit video games
- put in my two cents about movies (spoiler free)
My personal videos are on AznNamTV

I was correct every time about where the ace was. But then again, I know how the thing works
Not much slight of hand here. Careful handling though.
Sleights, Elmsley and all while narrating. Chapeau! Do you actually still practice or is it all rehearsing at this point? Leaving a like 👍
Thank you kindly for watching, liking, and commenting! Greatly appreciate it! Yes, of course I still practice- but for a new trick I'll practice the trick mechanically a lot the week before recording the video. For this one, I knew the trick mechanically but was partially coming up with the patter on camera. This trick I think took... 4 takes. I don't think I messed up mechanics of the trick, only the patter LOL. Depending on how much I love the trick, I won't necessarily retain the trick 100% after the recording is done. My rotating/revolving repertoire of on-demand tricks is about 75~ish tricks at any given time.
@@krazee_aznnn phew, not bad, Sir! I’m by far not as skilled as you, I started with magic roughly four years ago in the pandemic. Every video upload on my channel takes idk how many takes, usually over an hour 😵 At least the more complex ones I came up with myself
Yeah, I am kind of in a similar boat- started magic 2019, the year before the pandemic. Then, when I became ready to perform for people (and wanted to), the pandemic hit and there was nowhere people were hanging out to go and show magic. So I had to show people online. I remember when takes took me an hour. Super frustrating, but you learn to get better because the motivation is "I want to finish this video sooner". LOL
Great performeance
Thanks Chan!
Just found a box of giant cards at a yard sale, came here for inspiration. Thanks :)
Awesome! Thanks for coming by! I have an Oil and Water and Daley's Last Trick with giant cards in addition to this trick. Thanks for the comment!
@@krazee_aznnn i'll chrck them out :)
For me instead of uploading my VODs to my main channel (which is mess), I always have a another YT channel where I post them. And to keep things organized I sort each playist by month/year. But unlisting yet having your videos still available in a playlist works well too. Great to keep your channel nice and clean and focus on your magic performances. And as always your streams are awesome. Keep it up 🙂
Yeah, I decided earlier on that I didn't want to manage multiple YT channels.
Damn, that’s a good idea - but where do you get all the time from? 😅 Always really enjoy your sleight of hand performances. Thanks for putting out content on this platform. Also gives me some inspiration ❤
Y'know, it's a case of... Trying to fit all the things into my schedule that I want to achieve (I found I got achievements in video games more easily because I could see them listed), so I make an achievement list for myself. Then I just fit in parts of the effort to achieve them until I am done. Thank you for watching! I am happy to hear I gave you some inspiration!
@@krazee_aznnn sure man, you’re just so good and I appreciate all the work and effort that eventually lead to your skill level today
Nice subtlety with the ace at the end. Very clever
Thank you kindly! I think I've seen you use it, I've seen a couple of other KZreadrs use it, and certainly cannot be subtle in the same way if the 4 Jacks were used (at least, not impromptu).
That elevated my day!
Thanks for watching and the commenting! I chuckled reading your comment. LOL
Natural handling. I'm glad you performed it.👍👍👍
Thank you kindly for the inspiration! I really did like that ending a lot, so I felt like I had to perform it. Then I had this idea and this video is the result.
Great performance! Nice use of a sleight 👍
Thanks for watching and commenting Chan!
@@krazee_aznnn of course!
My man!
This kind of event should always prioritize video and audio recording. We are rapidly approaching a “vids or it didn’t happen” world. Plus, with high quality video cameras in every pocket, there’s no excuse anymore.
Cool effect and unexpected ending. Thank you good performance.
Thank you kindly for watching and commenting! I appreciate it! The story of the trick makes more sense if you know about the story in the video game- but yeah, just scooping the Queen right at the end and the bonus extra seems very open and honest. But surprise!
This was one of my absolute favorite board games of all time. I thought it was so hi tech lol
A very interesting game. Greatly explained how to play. Excellent gameplay. Great, great.
Nice! Very clever. I think I can try to work that one out. But great performance 👍
Thanks! You can work this out and perform it. It's not too difficult.
That is wonderful trick.💯👍🙏🙊
Thank you kindly for watching and the comment! Appreciated!
Great video! When I first learned the snap change almost a decade ago I kinda did what you did, covering with the other hand. I can DM you the clip on Discord if you’d like to see it
Thanks for the trick. It took me five times to learn it.💯👍🙏🥇
Thank you for watching it a bunch! Greatly appreciated! I hope you enjoy performing it!
Nice Trick!!
Thank you kindly!
Just unbelievable at what pace you’re banging out magic content - and it’s all good too!
Thank you kindly! Yeah, I did a project where I did 100 tricks in 100 calendar days back at the beginning of 2022 (and I succeeded!). One per week now seems pretty "laid back" by comparison. LOL
Here's the playlist if interested: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lmV-j5OJc6S0ktY.html
@@krazee_aznnn thanks buddy. I try to put a video out there every 2-3 weeks. Whenever life allows me to do so. Also I need a lot of practice compared to you haha. I’ll have a look into your playlist 🕊️
OK. That last bit really got me.
Thank you kindly for watching! I appreciate the comment!
This is unreal 😱
Man, if only you were able to see the full eclipse without the cloud coverage. It can only be described as magical.
This is great, love it! Spoiler: I think that there are more than four cards from the start. Probably two Mountains, and maybe two of something else as well but maybe thats not necessary
I will neither confirm nor deny! But I love hearing theories! BTW, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the comment- especially done in a respectful way. Often times we get people spoiling things disrespectfully and/or without a spoiler tag. So, thank you so much.
Oh man I love this trick
Thanks for watching and commenting! Appreciated!
Oh hey, you do magic too! Just gave you a sub.
@@krazee_aznnn my pleasure, buddy
@@krazee_aznnn haha I try my best and think I found my style. I love magic so much but unfortunately only have discovered it for me like 4 years ago. You also earned my sub 😊
Amazing! I enjoyed it.
😂😂😂😂😂
Great! Simple and clear effect. すごいです! シンプルであざやか。
Great job. Under the table is perfect for youtube. 👍🙏
Thanks! Sitting down, it didn't really make sense for me to try and stuff it in my pocket. So I had to come up with a "solution" for that. Here is it!
I did Watch It’s a Boy Girl Thing about month ago it cute, Sweet and Hilarious so I watched on stream on Amazon prime
Nicely done. Love the handling.
Nice way of revealing the final packet before the Aces.
🎉Thanks for sharing.
Those cards are gorgeous. Great trick as always!
Thank you kindly for watching! I appreciate the comment!
I see through your lies, Nam! Lol. Really great handling. I can't see any funny business and, believe me, I'm looking real hard.
Thank you kindly for watching!
The moment when replacing cards is clear. I like this trick too. カードの入れ替わる瞬間があざやかですね。
楽しんでいただけて嬉しいです!私のパフォーマンスを見てくれてありがとう! I am happy you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching my performance!
how does this not have any comments this is cool
Clear effect ! Face and back double color change.
Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoyed!
You took a very quick and streamlined effect and made it unnecessarily long with the patter. Keep it simple. This is a very boring performance of this trick.
Hi jaytpmc, If you wanted a less artistic presentation (but still with patter), please see my older video here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zq2YrKqmha-rpKw.html Here's a longer, possibly "more boring" video explanation of where I wanted to take my magic in 2023: kzread.info/dash/bejne/i5ibxdCkosbIhKQ.html TL;DR My goal was not quick/streamlined performance. My goal was to become more creative and/or introduce personal elements into my magic performances. My apologies that you found this particular performance boring. You would be better suited watching my 100 Tricks in 100 Days project in which many of the tricks are "less creative" and closer to many of the original intended performances: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lmV-j5OJc6S0ktY.html
Excellent! And thank you.
I'm glad you saw this! If you didn't, I was going to send it over to you! これを見てもらえて嬉しいです!そうでなかったら、あなたに送るつもりでした!
Beautiful ending!
佐藤喜義さんの作品好きです。演じてみたい。 I like Kiyoshi Satoh's performance. I want to learn it.
A lot of tricks I learn are mostly from watching other performances and figuring out how to achieve the effect (and making my own presentation). So it has been hard to find source material from Kiyoshi Satoh until a book was made available (for English speakers) 私が学ぶトリックの多くは、主に他のパフォーマンスを見て、その効果を達成する方法を見つけ出すこと(そして自分のプレゼンテーションを作成すること)から得られます。そのため、(英語話者向けの)本が出版されるまで、佐藤潔氏の資料を見つけるのは困難でした www.vanishingincmagic.com/card-magic/no-mans-land-series/ I did a couple of other performances of tricks based on Kiyoshi Satoh tricks I saw on another magician's channel 別のマジシャンのチャンネルで見た佐藤潔のトリックに基づいたトリックのパフォーマンスを他にもいくつか行いました。 - "Be Sisters" kzread.info/dash/bejne/qKqclcONXcLfoto.html - "Phantom Temptation" (might have been originally called Hotel Temptation or something- I don't know 元々はホテル テンプテーションか何かという名前だったかもしれません - わかりません) kzread.info/dash/bejne/aJmmsrdqicyZpqQ.html
Since the cards can be examined afterwards, is this a special packet we can purchase?
Admittedly I had seen this somewhere, and reverse engineered it (even though I think there are tutorials for this version out there). I don't know where this would be separately purchaseable (although I am sure it is). I had all the pieces (including gaffs) to achieve the effect myself on hand. I'll let you know that before the trick, the cards are not examinable. After the trick, the cards are examinable because I perform some sleight to swap the gaffs for regular playing cards. So the spectators would be inspecting the regular playing cards at the end. Magician Notes: The part in which I perform the switch for regular playing cards was an addition that I put into the performance of this trick. I thought it would be nice and neat to end in a state in which the spectators can grab the cards and look at them themselves. Ending super clean post-performance! If you can't figure out the gaffs yourself, let me know and I can direct you to other sources to obtain the gaffs.
Beautiful handling!
Thank you kindly!
Christams is what they celebrate in the Wizard world right? You're a wizard Krazee. Merry Christams! Oh, and Happy New Year! At the time of this comment.
Thank you kindly NightsRespite! Apparently yes, Merry Christams and Happy New Year!
👌
Glorious!
Why does everyone play this game sideways I don’t understand
In the original rule booklet, it oriented the board like this.
