Thanks for the look around the truck, Gary. And thanks for showing the terrain. That low 1st in the 5 speed will suit it to a T. Excellent job all round. Mart.

Beautiful truck sir! I am attempting to make this exact project with my dad. Its same motor and same truck except the one i hope to get is a 46 and its a 1.5 Ton duely. Your truck inspires me and gives me alot of motivation because i can literally see what the finished product will be like. Thank you for uploading this!

Sir if you did this yourself on your own you did a fine job! Maybe it's not perfect but it's fine it looks good if it doesn't rattle or fall apart and you like it that's all that matters! I know I sure would like to have it but that's not in the cards. Thank you for sharing, any new videos would be well enjoyed! Best Regards, Bob from Virginia USA

Thanks, The rear door latch rattles but the wood body is solid. Body and door joints are splined with a 1/2" baltic birch plywood spline, glued with 3M 5200 polyurethane marine adhesive and have an 8" x 5/16th star drive lag through the center of the joint. One evening we accidently backed it into a very deep ditch. The right front wheel was a foot off the pavement. We both opened our doors and stepped out. I opened the rear doors to get some tools and chains and the barn doors too.

Hi Wade, That was a short lived’flipper’. Bought it from a widow who was left with 30 collector cars. The dodge didn’t sell before she moved to Fla so I got it dirt cheap. 3 days later I sold it to a friend. He loves it.

Thank you Mart. The hammer idea came from an ass kicking machine I saw in a cartoon. Guy bends down in front of a boot on a pivoting 2x4. A rope attached to the free end, he pulls it and he effectively kicks himself in the ass. I know I have needed that plenty of times.
