    Terrifying and irresponsible. Like Group B if those cars made 2,000 horsepower. It's like having one foot on a banana peel and one foot in the grave.

    Hi Chris I just found your video and enjoyed watching it immensely I Think the hours that we spend on these projects and so much that we learn is maybe more enjoyable than the driving though that spin out in the wet looked like a lot of fun. its hard to walk past your creation without stopping to admire it recalling how you fitted some item or the nicely machined part for your handbrake.I have suggested to my wife that my car fashioned on a Morgan would look nice in the corner of our lounge room as it is a work of art and I could sit and admire it, but no joy there. thanks for sharing your video regards Kim Prowd.

    I'm just now discovering "cyclecarts" and I'm fascinated! The red cart at 2:08 ,I'd like to know how they sourced the wheels.(since they're not the motorcycle laced wheels) The front view at 2:21 shows that the front axle appears more "authentic" as well. I'd *really* like to get a set of those wheels!

  • @ixt_roadandracing
    @ixt_roadandracing2 жыл бұрын

    The wheels were made by the guy who built the cyclekart and the front axle is a front axle of of something, so repurposed rather than purpose built

    You can try to use two short cables to steer, one cable pulls the wheel to steer while the other becomes loose, this way its free to make a wider circle when turning, makes cornering better.

    @@ixt_roadandracing The MG with the fenders is opening up some thinking, too...I don't know if you've seen the MG TC pedal car my father did 40 years ago, but it has full fenders. I wonder why we never thought to try fenders on a C-K? Possibly due to basing CycleKarts on racing machines more, but your MG looks great with fenders.
