  Hello everyone, i got hooked onto volleyball after figuring this channel out, even gonna try to find a club soon. I can't really understand how to hit the ball as well as they do so it goes downwards with power, as my hits usually go into the net or out... does anyone have any tips with it?

  I have a couple tips, but I'm not sure how helpful they'll be. One tip is to follow through with your swing, meaning to keep moving your arm as you go down. And make sure your body has distance between the net so that you don't touch it. My second tip is to angle your hand down slightly, which will force the ball to go down, but still go forward. I don't know how well these will help as someone who doesn't typically hit, but those are things that I've noticed in observed.
