Excellent! I learned this as just a “down block” 20 years ago when I started Shotokan. I only started researching applications based kata within the last year or so and it’s been an eye opening process

This class seems amazing! I'm gonna try it tomorrow. I wish you made more videos, I loved your video about gedan barai. It's so refreshing to see someone who truly understands the meaning of kata, especially among Kyokushin sensei. I wish Kyokushin karateka spent more time understand the real bunkai since they practice kata. I love your videos. Keep up the good work! OSU!

It's so bad that actual karate techniques are so seldom understood by Kyokushin and even Shotokan karateka. It makes the practice of kihon and kata completely useless. Blocks are so much more than blocks.
