documenting Britain's railways since 2020
==========
Hey 👋 My name is Seb, I am a student in the UK with an interest in the railways. This is the destination for comprehensive videos on everything train-related from rolling stock to routes.
Videos are made by a team of one (that's me!) - this project was started by a rail enthusiast for rail enthusiasts.
Please bear in mind that my studies tend to take priority over these videos. As such, I apologise for excessive gaps between releases and delayed responses to comments! A five-minute video can often take tens of hours to script, film, and edit. At least you can rest assured that I put as much effort into every video that I can. 🙂
If you like what you see, please consider leaving a like. Feeling particularly generous? A subscription to the channel would be much appreciated! 🙌
Thank you for your time - see you soon!

I like these trains even though they are fictional unlike the class 357s and the proper late great class 302s from the happy days. Might as well replace the rectangular windows with hexagon, pentagon or octagon shaped ones. 😂😂.
Awesome video
Grate video there
bit late, but smashing video my son
My local station is Laindon, On the C2C network. I Love the class 357s, They Are good, reliable and the original electrostars.
Germany's ICE3 trains are far superior to class801.
It's Good That The Class 360s Have Got More Use Over At EMR After They Were Replaced By Class 720s On Greater Anglia And Also I Would Send The Class 379s Over To Great Northern To Replace The Class 387s As Soon As Greater Anglia Realised Them After The Arrival of The Class 720s 👍
The Class 720s Are Definitely a Upgrade 👍
Good Video As Always Mate 👍
Eversholt Rail Want To Put The Class 321s Back On Lease Anyway Great Video 👍
Eversholt Rail Want To Put The Class 321s Back On Lease Anyway Great Video 👍
The Class 745s Are Good Trains 👍
Amazing Video 👍
Good Job Doing a Review On The Class 357 👍 Could You Also Do a Review On The C2C Class 720s When They Start Operations In September This Year?
I Hate The Class 700s Because The Seats Are Awful!
Nice Video 👍
Good Job Mate 👍
Thanks 👍
My my, you’re back with another amazing video!!
Thanks, Tammer. It's been a while, but I'm glad to be back. Congrats on 1K subs, by the way!
@@tothetrains Thanks, yeah its been a while
I could never forget that catchy logo🔥 Welcome back💪
Thank you! I've kept that logo around for three years for a reason 😉
Nice to see you back on KZread. I have been on the Elizabeth Line and it’s lot better with extra trains during peak times and easier connection. I find the Elizabeth Line lot more convenient than using the Tube.
Thanks for your comment, Andrew - much appreciated. Yes, I do like the Elizabeth line very much.
The trains look nice
Indeed, they're good to ride as well.
The gangway looks a bit tight
So glad that you are back! Editing is on point as usual! It is also kinda funny how there have been days of overcrowding, proving how popular it is, being the single most used train line in the whole country.
And I'm glad to see your familiar profile picture in my comments section once more! 😁 Yep, the Elizabeth line has definitely had plenty of use, that's for sure.
Why hello there
'Ello, 'ello, 'ello!
OH YOUR BACK!!
Indeed I am! 😎
Welcome back!
Thank you very much! Hoping to get back into recording & editing videos - stay tuned. 😁
These are very similar to the Sprinter trains in Victoria on Vline trains, they are manufactured by Goninan apparently
All these videos. Don't tell me I'm late to the party!!!
Don't worry! You could say it's only just getting started 🎉 (This would be a lie given that I have just been on a 13-month hiatus 😂)
The production quality of these videos are incredible . Presented in such a concise factual manner . And whilst trains is an interesting topic i think you could definitely broaden your scope and be successful given the quality . 💪
Thank you very much Fyn for your wise words. I appreciate the support 💪
*_Thought it said operated by both._*
1:09 TOC 💀
Why is the coment section flooded with people comenting NoOb tRaIn
Because SCR Players have a terrible sense of humour and think life is Roblox.
@@aviation_lover___2 personally I think the scr class 357 itself is fine, even though it's missing details that only I notice
1:12 Class 387 Turbostars 💀
Yeah ikr - suffice to say, I have been more thorough with my proof reading since then 😂
Second largest brick-built structure in England... after what?
"With seven million bricks, it is the second largest brick built structure in England after the Battersea Power Station.", as per www.bbc.co.uk/england/sevenwonders/east/chappell_mm/index.shtml - it's quite an old source now; apologies if it isn't up to date.
When the 2 car class 158s finishes with East Midlands Railway 25 of those 158s honestly could hope go to Northern Rail where the other 158889 could be handed back to South Western Railway by perhaps the deadline date is Thursday 31st December 2026 in 4 years time updated Tuesday 4th October 2022.
If your an SCR player, the class 357 is the most annoying Train
i have to take a 158 from grantham- nottingham at least once a week and there actually quite nice, but their loud.
There's a voice i haven't heard in a while! Hope you've been ok Seb, hope some more videos are out soon!
Hey - good to see you around! I'm on holiday next week but I have more videos in the pipeline for after.
It seems a bit ridiculous to me for Greater Anglia to have 30 units refurbished and then almost immediately announce that they're replacing them. Do we know what the ultimate fate of the Renatus units is going to be?, I hope someone takes them
317s and 321s still run for now and i miss the 360s and 91s
East Midlands Railway Class 158 are very much reliable, smooth and comfortable.
GWR has fake 3 car 158 units. They were origional 2 cars added with a car from a different 158 unit to form a 3 carriage. The only realistic example of a 3 car built 158 is on Northern which is 158752-158759. Also another example are the ones in Thailand, which used to be with British Railway.
I didn't know this - thanks for the interesting info!
My type of train.
