  Hey, I had an 05 benz c230 and I walked in to a store after I parked it outside, I came back and it was on fire from under the hood towards the front window. What can spontaneously cause that? It was a very hot day and I was running the ac on high. I was shocked. Thanks.

  The acceleration is quite disappointing considering it has 230PS... looks more like 180PS to me.

  I have the DSG 150 pk 3 years and 40 000 km... I don't have any problems, I can do sometimes in eco modus more then 850 km, what do you need more?

  I have the 2005 Mk I TT S-line 3.2 L Quattro with DSG. Love that engine sound. Best TT Audi ever made. And it gets 30 mpg because that DSG transmission. 17 years my daily driver and still going strong.

  0-100 km/h in 12 second can my old vectra a which have 1.8 engine with 8 valve 90hp. i think this vectra b can 11 second or 10.5 because u change gear approx 4 thousand rpm. it need more rpm and after that u will see how fast it will be go. its my opinion

  I have a 400.000km midnight blue 9-5 from 2000 with the same B205E engine. The steering still works. I dont dare drive it ofer 180km/h on winter tyres. On summer tyres it's a blast...second, third and fourth gear @ 95km/h, 145km/h and 180km/h

  0-60mph in 12.27seconds? Really? If that is true the engine is not producing full power. The manual version does it in 9.2 seconds and the power shift does it in 9.6 seconds UK spec.

  that weird squeaking sound is something rubbing on the heat-shield where the backbox joins the center pipe, had the same sound on mine

  the mk1's were so cool, shame in uk everyone wants the best of everything, if not there would be tons still on the road since they are great fun to drive. The 1.6 duratec is a great strong engine even today 25 years later!

  what a shitty car. my father had it with this engine, the 8 valve version. at just 140k km the fabrics on the doors and roof started to fall off, the turbine broke at more or less 145k km, it was slow.

  and still consumption is 9l of fuel in urban city drive.. i drive gs line, 1.2 mt6 100hp... in papers say 5-5,5l but i have thst on open road, but in city,, omg it goes to 9l/100km

  Yeah thats pathetic. Small 1.2 engine. I've got previous Corsa E 1.4 90HP - mixed cycle goes ~7.5l/100. But LPG :D
