Should have went for Caruso for that lockdown defense. Need a solid 5 to get Giannis back to 4. Brook is good but he's getting old. Need a 3 that can slash and a 2 that can defend and shoot.
I feel it’s unfair to judge these players based on their performance last year, there were very significant changes that set them up for failure.
More versatile 1-4, but won't matter unless Giannis buys into playing more minutes at the 5. Brook just pigeon holes us into the drop.

The fact that we got younger and got rid of past their prime players( except Pat C) we automatically better. We actually got some role players who will actually bring something and not be a major liability.
All agreed! Now we have to fix the starting unit. We need more athleticism, speed and length around Giannis and Dame. And no matter what, we need an athletic big next to Giannis. We just can't put Giannis at the 5 and he would still be our only athletic big. It gets us in trouble year after year

Once we get rid of Pat this roster will be so much better than last season. Out goes all the old washed guys with weak defense Crowder Beasley Payne Beverly gallo thanasis all gone. Bring in Johnson smith wright prince and give real minutes to Ajax Marjon green and Livingston. Huge improvement tbh. But the key is trading Pat somewhere he is gonna ruin everything for the young guys if we don’t get rid of him. Another year of 20-30 minutes down the drain

He should’ve been starting since his rookie season. Develop all regular season as a young player on a vet team who don’t really care about the regular season. Instead we win 3 playoff games total in 2 years and give all the minutes to Grayson Allen and Malik Beasley who are no longer with us now. I believe the Bucks should sign Tyus Jones and Paul Reed. They would have to cut or trade one player to make this work. Possible cut or trade candidates would be Chris Livingston or Pat Connaughton. Sign Jones and Reed. Start Wright at the 2 and Reed at the 4 with Giannis at the 5. Jones would then become the backup point guard. If Wright starts, they will need another point guard.
Much easier if Bucks sign DSJ for me the need for another player that could attack the basket often and a good defender will help the team

I'm glad this was short lol. There is zero way you do this if you're Horst. Brandon Ingram is a HIGH volume LOW efficiency 2 level scorer who underperforms when it matters most. We've seen that in the playoffs, and we've seen that at the international level last year. He was supposed to be one of the USMNT leaders at the world cup, and he was SO BAD that he lost his starting spot 🤣 Whatever you do Horst, don't get baited here by the rumors. This would be terrible for us.

Ultimately I hope Ajax takes over but I don’t mind if we rotate early in the season due to matchups. Delon on quicker guards and Prince on bigger ones.
