Justin, Camille and Frank return for part 2 of the offseason episode, focusing on external free agents and trades. What will the Bucks have to offer and what names can they realistically fetch? Or maybe there are some names on the trade market Jon Horst may be able to pry free (again), who are those names and what is this team facing this offseason? We have to stop mentioning Bobby and Pat C in the same sentence. Pat C would ever get traded that would be the beginning of his end in the NBA. He has been around entirely too long and he is a roadblock for the young guys

@da11king To be honest, Pat C should never have been a high rotational player. And it really contributed to unsuccessful seasons. We refuse to add better talent and develop our current talent due to him. Besides, Pat C would never be a 6, 7 or even 8th guy in a rotation on any team, especially playoff teams.

@@da11kingI just think the Bucks overrated his value in general. He was very good in the playoffs when they won the title, in terms of hustling for rebounds, key threes in the corner, and some decent defense. But he just never had output like that again. Part of it is that he lost a step on defense and he doesn’t hustle for rebounds like he didn’t before. He gets too much play for little output.

Kris Dunn and Delon Wright, I'd be excited about and think are realistic options at the guard. Robert Covington would be a solid wing pickup in my opinion as well. Grimes and Caruso would obviously be exciting trade options, in my opinion.

I agree! We should have been trying to acquire guys like Walker, Derrick Jones Jr and Oubre last season. All signed for the vet min and all could have helped us past Indy

@BunnyPoker1 This is true. However I think when fans mention going young it really means getting younger or/and athletic guys around Giannis and Dame. Not depending on only 1st, 2nd and 3rd year players only

If you look at age, effort and production in the playoffs last year and also financially, it would make more sense to move on from Brook than Bobby.

Guys I’d like to see the Bucks target in trade: Colin Sexton: Athletic scorer and real good shooter last two years albeit on limited takes. Good defender and competitive as hell. 25/26 years old. Can play alongside Dame or preferably off the bench. Isaiah Stewart: 22/23 years old. Real good size, tough and plays with an edge. If I’m not mistaken he shot it well last season on few attempts but overall not a good three point shooter. More of 4/5. Athletic and can guard opposing wings. Better driver/finisher to basket if Bucks have enough spacing around him. Grant Williams: 25 plus years old. Good size. Can guard opposing wings some. Better than 37% from three. Deep playoff experience added bonus. Pacers can’t keep all their young guys. I’d look to see if you can nab one of Mathurin or Sheppard. Wendell Carter Jr: 24 years old Good size 6’9-10 with a 7’4.5” wingspan. Good defender overall. Shot 35 and 37% last season from three, hope he keeps that up. Ayo Dosunmu: 24/25 years old. 6’5 with solid wingspan. Real good defender. Cover opposing wings. 37, 31 and 40% on threes last season. On low attempts. Need to see more and if he’ll continue to trend up or be up and down. Also think they should look to trade Khris. I believe his value is pretty high especially with how well he played this postseason. He could bring back multiple guys with similar skill sets of Gafford and Washington. Would help overall depth. I know it would hard to see him go but you gotta make difficult decisions sometimes rather than looking back years later and wondering what if

Can you guys speak more about prospective trades for Brook? I know there's a good chance that he doesn't get traded but if we were to trade him what could we get back? I also think Dejounte Murray checks all of the boxes for us if we could trade for him

Brook, Middleton and Pat C are the guys that need to be moved in this off season. Especially by Middleton boosting his value. And it would be a very, very bad decision to keep these guys into the 2024 2925 season.
