    I was thinking about getting this for myself just because it's fully waterproof and submersible up to 16ft but idk. I need something that's dual purpose. That can do old dairy farm pastures which is anywhere from dry soil to damp or moist soil and fresh and salt water beaches.

    @jojoo4959 I was just hovering over the target, back and forth. It gave a tone, so you know it was detecting the quarter. The problem is no ID. Full review with more content coming very soon.

  • @CarolinaCoinHunter
    @CarolinaCoinHunter4 күн бұрын

    If you find a target you only have to swing back and forth a few inches on each side. You want to narrow it down and not pick up surrounding targets. The manual suggests a full sweep speed of one second from side to side, so that's about right. Sweeping faster didn't change anything.

    I dont know, if creator of this video is still alive, is stil metal huntin, or is he active on his channel, after 8 9 years from this video until now. But, i have few questions. I am also a metal detectorist from Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the Balkans, in Southeastern Europe. Anyways in my country, we also have big sporting or relaxation areas where alot of people gather and come and go everytime, parks, camps etc. I have never considered to go park hunting, with modern findings mostly, like jewelery, new coins etc. Because in my country there are prehistoric, bronze iron age, roman, byzantine, medieval, ottoman turkish, Austrohungarian locations, forts, tradeways, settlements, towers, battlefields, old medieval villages etc. So i go full historic mode, and try to go to these kind of forgotten places to find my relics. But after seeing almost all american MDs are going alot of time to public areas, parks, camps, carnival areas etc. And, what am i asking is l, can someone please like give me a few guidelines, like little bit of intro, some free advice in how to successfully start my urban hunting. Cause it is appealing for me, i want to find some jewelery, modern valuable objects etc so i can make some money. Btw i have a Nokta The Legend. Which has the Park Mode, but i dont know actually how to behave in Park Public areas because of the trash, of the people seeing me, how to search, which spots are like the honey pots in a park, how to deal with pulltabs and all foils bottlecaps etc.

    I would like to add , this is a killer seeded hunt machine. No one is running 8.4 frequency so there is no interference. All coins are only 2 inches deep ,so I don't worry about deep coins. ,I am using the 9 inch concentric coil on my machine, not the double D.. Also I have wireless headphones for it. .At this last hunt I had two back-up machines in the van a NOX 800 & a XP Deus2..

    Can the DD coil on the White's Treasurepro be submerged under inches of water?? I've even used heat shrink on the cable/part that inserts into the coil. Do I take the chance of getting the coil wet at all..? I've always used my Treasurepro in dry conditions.

    I never did much with it on the wet sand. Dry , It did well. If I recall , I was told manually GB at 15 or so. This is supposed to help cancel out the salt signal, and disc up to foil. You'll have to play around with that and see.

    Did you find gold with this device? I just bought this device, but in Iran there is no information about how to use this device. Can you teach me the settings for finding gold?

  • @CarolinaCoinHunter
    @CarolinaCoinHunter Жыл бұрын

    If you are out in areas that are not developed or would have a lot of junk metal. I would use the machine in all metal mode. Small gold can show up in the foil range . Larger gold will show up higher on the target I ID scale. If hunting home sites and places that could have a lot more metal in the ground I would hunt in discrimination mode. I would just discriminate out iron. JE mode is more sensitive, Jewelry Mode, so I would try that out. It's the same thing with the target ID. A large gold ring will have a higher ID than a small ring. One e way to really learn is to test the machine on some gold if you can. This will allow you to see what it reads, and make adjustments. The more targets you dig up in the field, the more you will understand. It will find gold with just the basic settings.You just have to dig about everything to get it.

    I’ve got the F75 SE LTD also... If you didn’t know the boost mode and cache mode settings transfers over to all metal mode side and enhances its performance. It’s says so in the users manual and I asked Kelly Co. You don’t need to swing slow in boost mode using all metal mode but you do need to sweep slow using cache mode and when you’re using that setting while in all metal mode. Just set discrimination mode side first then switch over to all metal mode and it almost doubles all metal mode performance. Other settings like default or fast mode or jewelry doesn’t transfer over to enhance all metal mode. This information is on page 22 and 23 of the users manual. As you start to read each discrimination mode. You’ll noticed boost process cache locating process at the bottom of the paragraph says... when the boost mode is selected the response characteristics of the all metal mode are also modified (meaning boosted or enhanced) these characters include less noise and slow response speed. Because now its searching ultra deep and so it responds a little slow. You don’t need to sweep slow in boost mode but you do when you use cache mode. Regardless if you are using them on discrimination side and/or on all metal mode. If you select one of these options and go back to all metal mode they are enhanced if you use any other setting like default or bottlecap or jewelry then it goes back to lower performance or default. Also if you haven’t upgraded to larger 15” inch fisher coil you should. I purchased the larger 15” inch fisher coil for my F75 LTD SE and I can hit quarters over 20” inches deep! Man hole cover or 55 gallon drum jumps from 2 meters on or 6 feet on stock 11” inch coil... However the larger 15” inch fisher coil will hit same amount of metal over three meters or 10 feet deep! So if you haven’t then you should upgrade the coil.
