Awesome video and thank you for your time and effort. The only thing I've been told is to change each felt tip per different diamond paste and shouldn't use 1 tip for all as there are different grits. Other than that they look amazing

My guy¡ what is going on here? I cant take anything here at face value? There is no way anyone that matches the speed and sound of hand tooling a ring to the music is gonna voice over so jarring in tone, tempo, and pace like that. Did you put your face on xerxes and then completely miss the timing on the audio to the visual but you can match the volume perfectly for the cat stare and go from polishing the ring into eating it after it turns into a donut without a single flinch in your positioning? I have no clue what is going here but there is deffinately something suspicious happening. Am completely confused but i sure did enjoy whatever this was.

Google Keyboard Translator . Friend, I use precision diamond discs, it is capable of easily cutting obsidian, the opal is soft in comparison, I create tiles of the desired thickness to make the most of the gem in the bud. Disc thickness 0.7mm tolerance 0.9mm diameter radius 10.35mm total disc 22.03mm . Smooth minimal rough opal cut 1mm to 3mm cut seat obsidian 1mm gem seat other mineral gem seat stone iron tiger eye 1mm thick

I was curious if cutting opal gems could be done with a rotary tool, so I looked it up and your video was second on the list, right under my favorite KZread channel "Black Opal Direct ". Very cool little set up you got, I knew it could be done, I had a couple of the same ideas as you , except I probably wouldn't have ever found time to make a set up like yours, my 4 year old son keeps me busy. 😅 Great video my friend! 😉👍🤘😎

This guy uses a different approach where he polishes dry. However, you must have a very good vacuum for that to vacuum away all the dust. kzread.info/dash/bejne/f3-s1buIhpDQeMo.htmlsi=wSbgHflPUX7Qid3J

kzread.info/dash/bejne/rGd60MurebDFnNY.htmlsi=jr6Y5soBdZZqQe4C Black Opal direct. He only does Crystal opal. He does not do Boulder opal. He cuts up to the 1200 grit Nova. Then he goes straight to the cerium oxide. In the video link, you'll see him talking about cerium oxide.

What kind of tool you use later for polishing (with the cover?), that is a cool alternative for not having a big machine. I have the hangmotor, but not seen that particular tool. I live in Germany.
