Yet we would like to think of ourselves as disciples. We make mistakes and screw our lives up and think we can call on God as if He's our Genie and expect Him to fix everything. We've got to grow up and get honest with ourselves. I always recommend to people I meet to read the book of Romans 100 times. Ive recommended it for 30 years and to date, I don't know anyone that' has done it. I did it back in 1979 and try to do it from time to time. It's only 16 chapters but it will read like an epic novel. Romans is a legal document revealing our redemption, sanctification, justification and righteousness. But Churchianity loves to go the Gospels every Sunday. They never put it together that Jesus fulfilled the law so we wouldn't have to. The Gospels are the conclusion to the Old Testament. The only reason they are in the New Testament is because of WHEN they were written which was quite a number of years after Jesus Christ had ascended. The book of Acts is the record of the transition from the Old Testament to the New. It sits like a fulcrum. It's all very exciting. But we'd rather watch a sitcom. We're so funny. I remember this song and when he was exposed for faking cancer. I don’t remember his illness being a pornography addiction. Today years old! I think the information that is available TODAY just from secular sources of the damaging effects of pornography on men, I can understand why he lied. God uses anyone to spread the message of His grace, mercy and goodness (even evil ones like Nebuchednezzer). I do pray that Michael has had a real encounter with Lord Jesus and has fallen in repentance at his feet. He was at his lowest when this happened and obviously was used by Satan in his weakness - who used the situation to smear and slander the name of the Church of Christ. He’s no hero. He is a vulture that preys on the vulnerabilities of others, not once caring how his behaviour effected others. My sister (Maree Helen Wade) died from cancer after being diagnosed at 19. She was just 22 years old years old when she died. She was Christian and loved God with all her heart and yet she was betrayed by the very people who were meant be fellow Christians. I watch my sister suffer, and I watch as people like him preyed on her grief and her strong desire to live. Everything from fake healing to miracle diets. Of course she wanted to live, she was so young. So called Christians told my sister that God had healed her. She held in to any promise than meant hope. Problem was it was false hope and because of that lie she never found piece and died in fear. She thought she must have done something wrong, or that her family had done something wrong in that God had abandoned her to die. God didn’t abandon her, people did. She was 22 years old and died afraid. I really wanted to say goodbye and tell her I loved her but I couldn’t do or say anything, I just say with her. I am angry because only the most heartless and narcissistic person would do what he has done. I don’t understand how you could look at your parents, your wife, your best friends and let them believe that you’re dying. The amount of fear they must have been living. His family have my prayers. At any point if he’d started to feel guilty he could have said he was now healed, but instead he let the cancer get worse. It seems like munchausens disorder. I remember when I heard Michaels situation People close to me would ask me why I play that song. I told him that’s a song that I love it’s powerful and so is the man singing it. Mike is a very powerful worship Leader. He was healing from something I can tell you that and a lot of people are being helped through his worship music. We all have our stuff so I don’t like to listen to too many critical Christians that think they have it all together. I remember in the beginning when he was under siege. Mike is a very powerful worship Leader. He was healing from something I can tell you that and a lot of people are being helped through his worship music. We all have our stuff so I don’t like to listen to too many critical Christians that think they have it all together. I remember in the beginning when he was under siege.
