  This is really inspiring me to continue my mini washing machine project! I had like an empty Vanish Oxi Action powder detergent tub and wanted to make a washer out of it, currently have an inner drum, bearings and a drum spider for the inner drum!

  I like this brushless motor, but it has a different tone than the real LG direct drive. I think it comes down to the number of poles in the motor. If you get one that is in multiples of 6 (real LG has 36 poles) it will produce the exact same operating sound

  well, there are a lot of reasons why mine sounds different than an actual LG. The first one is that I'm using a DC to AC converter to control the brushless motor. Real machines use a VFD to drive the motor but due to the size of the motor I'm using, I don't want to expose it to high AC voltage just for longevity and heat dissipation purposes. The last reason is acoustics. I'm working with a much smaller volume that is of plastic construction. Things rattle and sounds get amplified due to resonance. The outer drum is also hard mounted so even if the real machine's motor makes noise, it is dampened but mine isn't. There are things beyond my control that make mine behave differently than the actual thing but I'm doing the best I can with the resources I have.

  The way you modified this washing machine is way different for how other KZreadrs did, because they only connected the motor of the toy washing machines to the the power supply, so making a toy washing machine modified is simple but to automate it is not easy because you will have to buy a PCB "printed circuit board" and at the same time use a programming program like Arduino, so it's a really complex process, you're probably the only one who did this I think, but once you put a BLDC motor it gets even more complex because a BLDC needs it's circuit as well.

  @@CasamTheAnimator2008 I was using the default belt drive system. I replaced that with an actual DD BLDC motor and hooked it up to an esp32. If you think what I made in this video is cool, I highly suggest you check other (newer) videos ◡̈

  It's actually almost 2000rpm because it sounds like it, so that sound is much like in Gorenje.

  Display almost accurate! You basically turned a demo toy into a miniature LG WM8500HBA! Just a few stuff needs to be corrected like the dial and LEDs, i suggest purchasing a LED controller with additional pins of sort and connecting that to the Arduino, that way you can recreate how LGs turn on the LEDs one by one and remain solid but the start/pause button flashes
