I think that NOT having Princess Charlotte as a working Royal would be a mistake. She would be Princess Anne 2.0, Prince George's greatest support until he gets married. Also I think that Princess Beatrice should be brought in more. I heard that she just helped Prince William with an Earth Shot thing? And Mike and Zara would be perfect for the smaller charities, just until the Wales' are older. What about Prince Edward's kids? They are in school now, but would they want to help? I know that Lady Louise said no to the Princess title when she was of age to choose. Maybe she can do some of the animal related ones due to her love of horses?
Maybe the garden party was a test of sorts for how people related to the royals like Beatrice and Zara? Personally I don't think Zara and Mike need titles to do royal engagements. Everyone knows who they are.

My opinion is that they are already trying to slowly introduce Beatrice into royal duties. She stood in for him last week at a event, and I suspect we will see more of her. I’m not sure what that means as far as her job or her husband.because the Harry and Megan camp will say they did not allow Harry and Meghan to do that.
Zara can be given a title from the monarch since she is the daughter of Princess Royal Anne. If a title is a requirement. Princess Beatrice should not be penalize because of her father's sin. I hope the family like at the garden party and ascot do come back.

Quite clearly the overall goal of the British monarchy... Is to transfer of power and wind down the monarchy!! In what other country do you see their monarch step aside and refuse to defend the faith in which the very foundation of their existence and empire was built on. Killing and slaughtering millions of Catholics to do so right across their realm. What monarchy stands idlely by as their own subjects become a minority, while allowing other cultures and religion to dominate above their own... Christian faith why have they not come out to defend Christian accross their empire. Why have they allowed the removal of Christian holidays and Christmas in London to be replaced by sacred holidays to other religions. Why are the allowing their own subjects to loose the right of free speech, free movement. Why have the allowed there own people not to be entitled to equility nor democratic rights. While other voices and religions dominate over the country the so called monarchy rule and reign from. Has history taught these people nothing, if your people your culture your heritage,your history is rewritten, your people become a minority, your faith fails to exist. How long do they think it will be before they are removed from power, do they really think the overall religion and new leaders will accept them as rulers seriously, of course not. 🤯 Boggles my mind,truly does. Said it once I'll say it again, William will never be king nor will he rule if he does. George certainly will not.

Actually with the fact KC, the POW and Princess Anne being out of commission this year due to health crisis means that Prince William should look at bringing in Zara and Princess Beatrice and their husbands, and also Lady Louise in as backups. Yes, the Sussex Squad will complain they are half in/ half out, but what else is new? I think they should tell these back up royals they only have to work in five year sprints, and can’t make money during the five working years. But then they can go back to private life if they wish. I think that solution would be a LOT more enticing to the younger royals. It would be exciting to be a royal for five years of charity work, formal occasions where they can meet movie stars and world leaders, wear tiaras, wave on the balcony. Also they would be provided free housing, and staff. But yes, in exchange, they would have to do the grunt work of meeting mayors, talking about cows and sheep with local residents, ect. But it’s not FOREVER. And if Prince William thinks that Charlotte and Louis won’t have to be working royals when they are older, he is dreaming.
Harry must never be brought back as a working royal after his betrayal of the monarchy, Britain and the Commonwealth. He is not wanted in that capacity. Our royal family has our backing and if it is a slimmed down royalty we will still back them. Their patronages can be slimmed down to fit in with the size and availability of the working royal family.

Of course, remove the treacherous royals....we know who that is but this is Great Britain and the Commonwealth countries. As long as Princess Anne and Prince/Duke Edward are wanting to work.... keep them. BUT include the grandchildren and great grandchildren now. Pay them only while they are working engagements. But train them so they won't bring negative attention like those who won't be named😂. Promote the new royals as well. If this monarch slims down too much....there won't be a reason for the monarchy.

They will have to start thinking about the weight of the job and if it's for them. It's great to want to have as much time with the kids as possible but people around the world work yearly with usually maybe 2 vacations a year not as much as the royals take off. Start thinking of what the job demands and if it's for you, give it up if it's not but the requirements won't go away and they have to stay relevant if you want the monarchy to continue. They have to do more in future.
The only long vacation they take is during the summer and all royals do so, and if you look at the yearly royal engagements they take, it seems to decrease with the younger royals, e.g Charles and Anne are the only one who undertake 500+, Andrew prior to 2019 400+, Sophie, Edward, 200+, the Gloucesters and Wales are in the same categories, even people with real world jobs don't work the same amount of hours, some work full day others half, some a few hours a week depending on the job description

If you mean "Crown Prince/Princess", it is a title used in the Scandinavian monarchies for the 1st in line to the throne. Denmark's Crown Prince is Christian, Sweden's Crown Princess is Victoria, Norway's Crown Prince is Haakon.
Yes, a Crown Prince/Princess is the title that the heir apparent takes in Scandinavian countries. Other countries have more individual titles like, Prince of Wales, Prince/Princess of Orange, Duke/Duchess of Brabant, etc. I hope that helps!!

The misguided Press up to their old tricks still: Concentrating on "William's recycled tie" instead of reporting on the information in the speech etc.. If the speaker complains about the inadequate coverage of the event, the press covers their poor job by accusing " the speaker of being jealous of attention given to William". The press did that with Diana and Prince Charles and bent public opinion in that direction of " jealousy".

Umm, I find it interesting as a historian. Everyone has their interests and things they enjoy. Royals are my thing.
Today we are thinking about the election, not the monarchy they are strong, popular and theres no threat. Does any one in the uk really worry about the number of working Royals ? We get on with life &so do they. You stress over this much more than most of us in the uk . Eden works for a failing trashrag he needs the clickbait. I think it's a little unfair to continue to refer to the BRF as a slim down monarachy like the King CHOSE it. Harold and his wife CHOSE to leave. Andrew needed to be removed from public view. And I don't think either King Charles nor Catherine the Princess of Wales CHOSE to absent themselves. They're ill. The Princess Royal had an accident. None of this is hardly by "choice"...
