Naruto was supposed to lose to Neji. Sasuke was supposed to fight Nej Gaara would have been aroused by the fierce battle between the two ninja. Then there is a small battle at the stadium, where Gaara is wounded by a crowd. Further down the canon, everyone passes out, but Sasuke and Neji run after Gaara. Sasuke and Neji lose to the monster Gaara, but they are saved by Naruto and defeated by Gaara, as in canon.

Would you consider doing Naruto fights from a fanfiction Like for instance with Dreaming of Sunshine how Naruto fought neji was more fantastic and possible to happen with the arsenal Naruto already has that canon Naruto failed to realize. Or how he fought Kiba is different. Or the SI fighting Gara in grass chunin exams. If your familiar with the story work

This should had been it. Instead we heard Naruto the child of prophecy lecture Neji about family issues he could never understand as he “proves himself right” by abusing Nine Tails chakra after getting smoked in order to win 🤦♂️ just like Boruto learned to abuse power that wasn’t his with the ninja tools. Like father like son.

I do wonder how it would have turned out. At first glance back then i would have thought sasuke since at this point, while exhausting, sasuke can put up speed that is similar to rock lees first gate. However, rock lee i think in flashback was shown to losing to neji and probably implied he always does? However, i doubt he ever used gates against neji since the rule is to ise it to protect someone and since he isn't he wouldn't be allowed to use his first gate. The other gates are out of the question as ot requires guys permission. It's probably a fight that depends on who is able to outlast the other with chakra. Regardless since sasuke is using mostly close combat at this point in the story, neji might edge the advantage because olat this point i. The story, once you are within his trigram, you are pretty much done for, one hit can shut off his chakra system and since sasuke doesn't have the three tonoe yet, he is unable to rpedict or see neji in slow motion. If sasuke has his three tomoe then he should win. However, sasuke curse seal buff should be an issue for neji. Its very hard to tell since neji at this point is overconfident and arrogant with his skills though he can back hisnelf up clearly but at the same time i don't remember him ever looking shocked, trouble etc when seeing others using their powers

Sasuke debería tener cierta ventaja, Dado que esa velocidad y taijutso es copiada de Lee, y a su vez Lee tenia preparado ese estilo de pelea para vencer a Neji.

might aswell throw this here, but genjutsu does work on jinchuriki. chapter 549 has bee caught in Itachi's normal genjutsu so Tsukuyomi does work. (just wouldn't hit Minato since he would sense the chakra being built up and tp before it hits or send a shadow clone and have itachi waste it like Kakashi did)
