  It's crazy to build a base in the Lava Zone in Survival mode xD I was planning on building a Base where the Lava Falls are as you ascend to the Lost River but I ended up loosing track because I couldn't recognize where I was because of how the Cyclops window is laid out

  imo it's not worth moving up here because you have to travel so far just to get simple ressources like tape and rope. If I were you i'd just build traps all around my base to clear the cannibals

  A great alternative are Nuclear Reactors. I've played subnautica about three times and i tried each way of producing energy, the nuclear reactor i liked best. They are a bit tricky, but if you can keep them fueled they produce about 2500 power per nuclear rod (the reactor holds 4 rods) that are relatively cheap and last a long time. They are very good mostly for big bases, the only problem being that you need uranite to make rods, however i didnt have problems with that during my playthrough. Please do consider it, best of luck!

  Thats pretty smart, for a game set in the ocean i never noticed a lack of boats, this would have been interesting to say the least, if you had a futuristic looking ship you could land on the islands and travel to those specific locations without submerging, ie the aurora or essentially anywhere you wish to deploy

  At this point in the game I was so desperate to finish, I crafted another cyclops because I lost mine in the inactive lava zone and every time I went to find it I got lost and would get jumped by multiple reapers so I just said fuck it and made a whole new ship just to craft the shield generator and get the hell out of there

  Currently having some trouble with power (since finding copper is annoying I rn settled on bioreactor and hope of oculus wanting to breed, or trying with gel sacks). Temperature seems pretty good here(something I tried to search for) and it should be actually quite cheap. Thanks for help.

  It seems like I will probably have to go to Jellyshroom cave (very close and lot of gaysers). Kinda meh but at least I have stasis rifle. [edit-update on this] It wasn't really that far to place in video so I build it there. I have 2 generators and it helps a lot, might add another one in future and scrap solar panels(copper) along with bioreactor(takes a lot of space).

  heres a good tip: make an scanner room and put it into the mineral who you can break to get copper (forgor the name) then make 3 or 4 range modules, boom then you will have MUCH copper after you break most edit: also make a module that will show where the ore is on your visor, helps a lot

  the interiors of the boat looks quite good and detailed, although the exterior needs more work in my opinion, it needs a more subnautica style

  The guy working on it is a programmer, not a texture artist. He does what he can, but no talented 3d artist has volunteered to work on it yet
