Tim Henson probably technically as proficient and also Marcin.
Yngwie all the way. Romeo's technique might be more precise but it sounds duller. Single coil ftw
The winner? That would be the listeners because we could get to witness such people excell at what they do.
Both not from this world, hard to compare based on diffrent styles; But in the End (imho) Romeo is the clear winner, especially after his Divide and Conquer Solo-Project -what a beast on the frets!
Someone please help!! This last clip, where he's playing the Strat. He's using a green pick. Then he makes it disappear while he fingerpicks a bunch of notes and changes pickups. Then suddenly makes the pick materialize again. Where did he put the pick???!!! I can't figure it out. I tuck it under my middle knuckle when tapping, but it is nowhere in sight in this video. You can even see the inside of his right hand. Nothing!! HELP!!
Hide matsumoto is my Japanese favorite guitarist but why Akira takasaki like no one care about him. His skill incredible and masterpiece. He is the legend of Japanese guitarist.
🤩14:41-10:52-5:48-0:54🌈✨
I see comments about Matteo's shredding, but he isn't a shredder, he improvises and at his level, he is beyond many other players. He is unique but like Holdsworth, Matteo improvises and that is a huge difference.
💥🔥🎸🎸🎸🎸💥🔥🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🤘✊🎼🔥
Jari is the real monster for writing this.
We were friends from 86-90. We'd go see him w the Willys every time we could , usually 2-3x a month. He'd sit with my buddy John and myself btwn sets. Good guy, sorely missed.
Between Matteo and Caitlin Clark, I stand amazed.
I chose buckethead, and don't forget tosin abasi 🎸
Romeo smokes yngwie.
And his fingerwork - his picking fingerwork- wow.
This is a tough one. In my opinion, both players have an absolute insane command of the instrument. Both players know how to write cool tunes. Both players have killer tone, and really improved their phrasing over the course of their careers…yeah love them both. Oh man, I can’t decide! 😄
Yngwie is an absolute legend…but Michael Romeo is far and away the better player. Better picking, way better command of modern guitar techniques, way better phrasing, better songs and WAY better tone. Michael Romeo is far and away the better player. Period!
Monte Montgomery can play circles around these guys No Pick Needed..
Matteo Mancuso plays faster and cleaner than anyone else. Listen 2 the young Man. No Pick at all.
It's like Charles Nelson Reilly got reincarnated as a guitarist.
Igual ese solo lo compuso Jari de Wintersun
Excelente
Paul Gilbert smokes both
Give me Michael Romero
Wa 'n verrekte mongol, jonguh
Who?
I wanna paul. Hsha
Impellitteri all the way! 🤘🏻
Romeo.
Romeo 100%
Except for Frank's sweeps, both can do what the other can do, but I have to hear them doing the same tune, then you could make a better decision.
wooow Akira Takasaki...Mecomo tumoco
esperen...huele a caca....yngwie se zurro jejeje
both are amazing
Yngwie always❤❤❤❤
Frank is effing incredible, as is Brett. But when Brett gets the slide out, it’s a cheese with an entirely different palate to taste, and extremely tasty it is.
Even Kiko calls Chris an amazing player that is incredibly hard to emulate. Taking nothing away from Kiko of course, he's an absolute monster..........if only on tone, Chris still deserves the win - for me at least.
Yngwie kakaknya... michael adiknya... sama² cepat, akurat, sweep picking arpeggio, neoklasikal, gondrong, keren aku suka mereka..
Wow! 👌💯 Can he play on classical guitar? kzread.info9Sh8lYeHqCw?si=KYjnpynr7_paqoCp
Nice 🙂 can he play classical guitar
Yngwie is fast and clean with classical taste. Gotta go with Yngwie!
Faster than Matteo Mancuso there is only light! Having said that, I would add that he is an incredible musician... but art is something else... and Matteo knows it!
No Rice with Angels?
Haha these comments, kiko is far more skilled, it's not even close.
Mateo Mancuso above everyone. His mastery of Jazz gives him a much larger vocabulary than others. And his right-hand technique redefines guitar standards
Love the tone he had playing the 750xl Charvel loaded with dimarzio PAF Pro's!🤘
Honestly Roy Marchbank is easily up there, one of the most underrated guitarists ever. This is him playing at absolutely nuts speed. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dmamlpRxlcrZpsY.html
He my favorite guitarist ever
"Malmseen"? cmon man
One day, when this kid grows up he'll focus on beautiful melody over blowing his fretboard load all over the place. These aren't the songs anyone sings or remembers, it's just dexterity porn.
