Would love to see a follow-up on SlayersX. Even though it doesn't get as deep as Hypnospace does, there's still a lot of characterization for Zane in that game that really builds off Hypnospace. Specifically because despite his edgelord phase in his teen years, he grows up with a lot of love in his heart for his mother, and even managed to raise kids. But despite this, he still ends up having some amount of flaws to him, since he is a single father, and even his friend who he got to help make the game put easter eggs in that described his animosity towards Zane, and how despite how much Zane has grown, he still lacks some amount of self-awareness.

I really liked the Owl House (even though it has some maddening.. almost painfully flaws with its structure, plot and character development) for the last three mini-specials , I feel like they covered for some of the absolutely grotesquely bad pacing, rushed overarching plot, lack of character development, and the sudden shift in tone from Season 1 finale onward. The last 20-25 mins of The last owl house episode ever was very solid- it got an emotional reaction out of me (very surprising for a kid's show). I really liked the world they made by the end of it, and it felt like a pretty special experience. However, that Season 2 was such a slog, so middling, so unaware of how it was stomping on everything fun in the first Season, where it feels more like "diet" Gravity Falls and more fun. It was only when they started introducing more characters, doing whole backstories, trying to set-up more than one antagonist, plus somehow keep a believable romance going between two characters as well as friendships between multiple characters and the protagonist.. is when things started to go belly up for me. All of a sudden characters were acting irrational or being shoved aside for other random characters, Luz never faced consequences for anything, and it even hurt the series finale a little bit too with the whole, "The power to destroy the big bad was inside you all along my little niña." *did you see what I did there? I incorporated pointless español words into my sentence to show how down I am with current culture and the youth of my latina familia* Whatever. Otherwise, if you got rid of Lilith (or didn't fridge her in Season 2), Gus or Willow, Hunter, developed the villain a little more, took out the Harry potter wizard school crap, spent A LITTLE more time making a romantic relationship viable as opposed to this weird pseudo-toxic bully turned lover thing (which I honestly couldn't get behind to begin with) and maybe didn't bring up the whole Titan backstory without even allowing King to even get his moment to shine as a savior/hero (which is what I thought that was leading up to or a sacrifice even) then maybe it could've been a lot better. The writers had issues balancing the tone, humor and story, which is exactly what happened to Amphibia. Now I'm sort of starting to understand why Gravity Falls is aging so well, they stopped the show and wrapped things up before it could potentially become worse. Or strictly so Disney couldn't crap all over it. Ultimately I still find Owl House very good overall, because those Season 3 specials left me feeling like I got something out of watching them. If it was up to me, I would've kept it the way it was in Season 1, with the just the three main characters so I could focus on those three as they had loads of potential that I guess all the writers decided wasn't interesting enough so they brought in like 20 more characters in Season 2. The other problem is that far too many of these shows are becoming female-centric, to the point where we just aren't seeing strong or interesting male characters at any point. Of course Grunkle Stan, Dipper and other male characters on Gravity Falls were flawed and complex male characters who made mistakes, but learned from them as opposed to that weird thing they do with female protagonists where everyone acts like they're the ones that should be apologizing to them. They were also extremely interesting, and held true to their convictions compared to some other main characters who forget what they're all about when the writers need them to act differently in an episode. Protip: Just because you're creating a conflict, doesn't mean its happening organically. Characters actually need legitimate reasons to be conflicted towards one another. Luz should've butted heads more with Amity, and then they slowly become friends, they learn things about each other, they see strengths or weaknesses that and they find a middle-ground, then eventually that becomes a romantic relationship. ALMOST LIKE HOW ACTUAL RELATIONSHIPS WORK or something. Part of what is hurting these shows is people (women) who think "Raine Whispers" is a good name for a character. His inclusion was weird and pointless especially for Edy, since the romance is apparently not allowed to be PHYSICAL. Compare that to Luz and Amity who are constantly flaunting it every other episode, but Amity isn't anywhere near her when she *SPOILERS* died. Of course why all the male characters suck or are made to look like idiots is because the show runners had an agenda.. which was to make the men look like idiots. Which they did quite successfully, because there is not one man who helps at the very end of the show (except King's Dad who is shown to be immortal basically and is only lending his super magic Dragonballz powers to Luz, even when it took her ages to believe King and only believes King is a titan after lots of concrete information is presented to her later on). All-in-all it was a harmless show that made some stupid mistakes when it went off-road. It had lots of potential, but I can see why Disney binned it after a little while.

22:40 Regarding about KZread shutting down, who knows about that ....... but what I do know is that so many videos have been lost. It's really hard to find old videos from the first couple of years. There's plenty of videos I saw when I was younger that are now gone forever because someone closed their account, or the video got taken down, or the channel was taken down because they had content strikes against them. I started trying to save videos (especially older ones), and even a few old classics got removed after I had originally saved them, including "Washington Washington" and "I Feel Fantastic". Another thing I love about Hilda is its usage of foreshadowing. Pretty much early on you realize that pretty much everything that happened in an episode that is not yet tied to its main plot is just a Chekhov's gun ready to be fired once the time is up. That way, the show encourages you to seek out the details and remember what happened, giving a richer viewing experience

With how true-to-form this game is, I imagine we're not shown what happens to Dylan after he's come clean on account of how much of a downer it'd be. As a consideration: an early tech start-up hits it big, has a huge boys-club problem with no proper management outside of a handful of people who aren't being paid enough for their responsibilities, where everything comes crashing down thanks to an apparent outside force compromising device stability for everyone on the network? That's bad enough. But a couple decades later, and Dylan's still kicking, sending e-mails from his D-Phone _(which could just be a colourful signature, but with the alternate-reality setting, it could be his company's now in the phone-development sector?)_ and generally available enough to join in on the archival team. I imagine whatever damages had to be paid in the weeks after the Mindcrash were rough, but could be weathered _(especially since not everyone got paid? if the RodsAntiGovernmentPage's eulogy is any sign)_ before moving on to the next big project, letting MerchantSoft (or whatever they'd become in the future) make a comeback. More to the point, if Dylan was legit about giving himself up and being done for what he caused... there's not much that could really be done. Tim already did his time for the crime pinned to him; the case was likely open-and-shut because the novelty of *"TEEN HACKER CAUSES Y2K MINDCRASH WITH SIX FATALITIES"* was far more titillating than contacting users who were _on_ HypnOS at the time for pertinent information. Or maybe they _did_ contact people, and assumed that the "Outlaw" thing that caused trouble was part of the Mindcrash virus made by Tim, as you can bet your beef that MerchantSoft wasn't going to be on the level about it. Two decades later, the dead have long since been buried and everyone's since moved on. The only people who'll care to learn that the tech wiz-kid COO of MerchantSoft was the _real_ culprit would be any surviving family members of the victims; maybe they get a hefty payout for loss of life undeniably caused by MerchantSoft, but the revelation won't bring back their loved ones. And with Dylan being such a star in the tech world, he wouldn't get jail-time. Or if he did, it'd be maybe half a year, as the justice system wouldn't want to dampen the creative output of such a genius, right? The most likely outcome is he'd get hit with a huge fine and a slap on the wrist before then getting to move on with his life. Thoguh it could be that alternate-reality America is more likely to crack down on this stuff and he _does_ get due punishment, but that WOULD be fantastical!
