Noiseless are stacked rather than side by side, creating a humbucker essentially

500k will sound a bit fatter...Fender generally uses 250k pots with their single coil, whereas Gibson uses 500k with their Humbuckers.....I have the push/push setup on the Tone knob, and it's 500k...sounds killer.I';m using a Seymour Duncan Lil '59 single coil - sized humbucker at the bridge...retains the look of the strat...

Push/push is THE best solution!...I've always had a problem with the push/pull, so when I discovered the push/push, it was like the perfect solution...

I'm not a fuzz guy but right out of the gate (pun intended) this is amazing. Just the first sound Ryan dropped is amazing.

ANY covering on the wooden box MAY cause some dampening with glue and soft vinyl, BUT if it's made with CHIP BOARD, it's already deadened by the binder! BUT if it's made with good ply or solid timber, it would (sic) more resonant than a chip board made box! Simple physics! WHETHER you can HEAR it much, is a totally different subject! Nice 1 Ry! \m/

Idk about tone tolex or whatever, but I like the idea of amps without a finish just so you can dye or paint them yourself to be whatever color(s) you want! Next Ryan mod video?!?! 😯

Gonna be honest, one of my first amps was gotten from an old grunge dude who ripped the tolex off all his amps, and I can't say for sure that it was positive but those amps did sound different, though he said that putting skids on the bottom was his secret sauce.

What is the song you’re playing at the 18:46 mark? It sounds so familiar and I’m drawing a blank right now.

Dunno, love your consistency for demos. The Princetons are excellent for demos! That String Singer needs nothing, what a dream! Do both in your demos; start with the Princetons and then hit a selection from the Yacht Club.

YOU make these demos fun! Decent amp; over priced, very limited (tone control), breaks up quickly, don't know how many db you were getting. Seemed to sound better with the motherboard in line like a buffer without anything on, lol. Would be attractive at a lesser price (I'm poor, lol). Love your Princetons with those ribbon mics. Good surf tone. You saved the best for last.🔊

This is just too weird, I just finished play testing my new fuzz pedal design that uses the NPN silicon FuzzRite circuit as the clipper stage before hitting an overdrive stage! It must have been the Rite time!😂

I love the Fuzzrite, it is just a complete trash fuzz in the best way possible. Congrats on snagging a cool piece of history. I will probably stick to my FZ-1w (which is amazing as a bright trash fuzz too, vintage mode with the tone all the way up) but there’s always catalinbread if I need the proper deal.

I really really LOve the old school OG Epiphone SANS Gibson headstock!! Love. Backyard ponds are great fun and massive time sucks, not nearly as much of either as pedal building and woodworking though! I will be 50 tomorrow and I recently very often think god I wish I could have gotten these various eclectic interests when I was frickin young enough I had the damn energy and time to actually ENGAGE in all of them!!! Then analysis paralysis sets in, AKA decision paralysis AKA I analogize it to the lion on the plain who cannot catch an impala because theyre all grouped together and he cannot decide which one to commit to so ...well I end up watching YT vids with other people doing it and justify in my mind that Im "learning about it". This was a deep dark episode guys!

My catalinbread and DIYs are useful and great and all, but a brand new and authentic OG Fuzzrite is near-miraculous and beggars the imagination!

  • @SkronkJappleson

Damn, this is really cool. I had a clone called the fuzzbrite maybe around 20 years ago. I didn't like it at the time but I think I would find it more useful now than I did back then. And mine sort of did the "thing" that this one does, but this one sounds fuller and better to me than that one did
