Great video!
Thx bro
Honestly guys, if you want to convince people tasht Linux is the way to go, then this nonsense should not be necesssary. Install Steam (ideally it's already there with all permissions it needs) and just point it to the existing games library (that was might have been under Windows) and done. If it's not that simple and straightforward, I can't tell anyone to give Linux a shot. Everyone I know will look at this and cocnclude that gaming on Linux is still trash before they return to Windows where these things work with a few self-explanatory mouse clicks. Thansk for the guide. I will now try to figure out, how Bazzite "it just fucking works!" Linux installed Steam on my system and what persmissions it needs to find my games library, or how I should have installed Steam the right (but in no way obviously communicated) way. Edit: So, the problem was steam and the convoluted way how you link storage loations in Steam these days. Hint: you ahve to pcik the option that lets you pick a different location and naviagte to your steams-folder. Immediately ran into the next problem though: Im still running on NTFS partitions and none of my gamse will start apparently I now have to move all data from my games SSD somewhere safe, format the drive as Ext4, and move my agmes back to the games SSD. Fun! Whish taht all the people/guides who generate clicks by claiming taht gaming on linux is the next big thing would hve been upfront about thsis.
bro thats manual mounting
Thank you for making my life easy on linux. Linux has hardly app support 😂
I'm not sure but for me the games that come from the windows installation just don't launch at all. the play button turns to synchronizing then to running then to play again that all that happens... No error nothing.
Damn papi, your voice is so sexy
a hint for anyone who was struggling with "unknown filesystem type 'ntfs', installing ntfs-3g worked for me. edit: i just realized there's a little thing that pops up at the beginning of the video that says exactly that, so this is only here for unobservant people like me who go into the comments for help
Works perfectly, thanks you
THANK YOU SO MUCH OMG
i really want a full guide on clean arch + hyperland DE(pls use a cool rice) can you ?🥺
thanks lad
neat, 'idiosyncratic' content here. Thank you, subscribed.
If all else fails, download an Arcolinux iso file.
Great video. I've been on a linux for a while. One website you might want to mention as far as seeing if a game is compatible or not is protondb. You can search for a game and you can see what others have done to get it to work or not. Hope this helps.
Tell me this isn't @rendog south Africa mentioned pog
thank you sir❤❤❤

Gnome disk utility in the aur has a nice gui that is easier to interact with I’ve been using that for awhile.
Very useful Video, helped me a Lot with my config on My Ubuntu. Thanks.

finally someone teach me this without BS
Great video! Very useful
sudo pacman -S docker says the file is missing on the mirror . tried to build it from docker-git as well. but that seems to be throwing errors too.
thanks ♥️
Actually had no idea you had a Linux channel. Thought I was on the main channel and was going to write "Wouldn't mind seeing more Linux content."
I applied each of the suggested fixes and somehow I'm still experiencing crackling/stuttering on my voidlinuxVM are there any other potential solutions that I am missing or I am unaware of?
I mean, manual install isn't that hard when I first wanted to try arch on an ancient testing HW, I couldn't start the system after archinstall, so I had to learn manual XD. that was a good introduction to using (read fixing) arch
I mean this with respect... But you sound like the coffee really worked. Love the clear and steady pace of instruction though.
you do linux as well?? very coooool
dude, sub for this. That was so simple and straight to the point.
Hello I'm getting '/usr/share/wireplumber/main.lua.d/50-alsa-config.lua': no such file or directory I'm using VMware
BUT... for **Arch Linux 24.04** and onwards, the configuration file/folder structure has changed. Then we have to change the configurations accordingly as below: ``` mkdir -p ~/.config/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf.d cd ~/.config/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf.d cp /usr/share/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf.d/alsa-vm.conf . ``` Then open `~/.config/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf.d/alsa-vm.conf` in an editor and tweak the configuration at the very bottom of the file to suit the needs. Like: ``` ["api.alsa.period-size"] = 1024 ["api.alsa.headroom"] = 8192 ``` That's it.
@@marcuszou oh Thanks!
Thank you for this video mate. 👍👍
Sounds good on the talking end. The proof will be the install. I will have to check it out. :O)
can this work with my laptop's intel integrated graphic
Good tutorials. Can you show us, a tutorial about Plymouth?
Your Arch guides are great. Can you please do one with Timeshift or similar programs.
hi i did that but it give timeout
in the first it works just fine in my linux but when i tried to change to windows it timesout
Great work, subscribed! Question: do you know why sometimes Linux decides it will mount the ntfs drives as read only?
Keep up the great videos. I just switched from Windows to Arch and your videos are super helpful.
It’s not hard, if everything goes according to plan. But that rarely happens. At least in my experience.
Im a bit confused, I thought wine stands for WINE IS NOT an EMULATLOR. So why is there a ability to see a virtual desktop window? I thought I just translated windows API calls to linux ones.
I fixed it by installed PulseAudio 😂
the solution for me too! o/
No way, Linux??? I been waiting for you to do some videos on Linux...
Thanks a lot! I'm considering switching to Linux pretty soon, so I'm glad you also have Linux guides.
I really like your other channel and didn't know that you had a Linux channel, so cool!
Thank you for your great video. It explains perfectly how to set up the server. You have included the necessary steps very good. I will now try to compile this into a JavaScript file, that sets it up for me.
