Thanks, great vid. Subscribed. I'm an experienced photographer but a videography newbie with much to learn. I bought an Amaran 200xS light recently and was so impressed I bought another two, plus a battery box to power one light with 2 V-mount cells. I'm excited to see how I can create good 'believable' lighting scenarios, so hope you will be showing a little more of your 'gaffing' skills in future vids.

Hello, I bought this along with a whole rig set and I’m trying to use it with different kind of photo lenses ( Canon 85mm, 50mm ) and I keep getting error messages from the lens. Apparently it seems to be heavy for it when the lens is trying to focus. Is there any solution for that?

Nice content ! Managed to get one for very little money at a charity sell, and what i did was to took off a cold shoe from an old Zenith SLR, then glued it between the two mic holes, fortunately happens to be right above the center of the lens. Then i bought a KMZ turret viewfinder which is a variable OVF (with outstanding optical quality - the one with the barrel on the right, allowing the flash to pop) to stick on the cold shoe whenever it's needed (often actually) A RX100 MK1.5, sort of lol This + a grip, now it's THE VERY point and shoot 🤤

A honest and genuine review, thank you. Ive had my matte box for a few months and have a serious issue with turning the variable ND. It's OK turning one way and then becomes stuck turning it back. I think maybe the Nisi matte box might be better.

I'm glad you liked the video. I'm sorry to hear about your matte box, I think that's one big issue with smallrig, their quality control is not always the best. Yeah, NiSi was actually my other option, it seems really good.

Buen video Jose!
@thejosebravo5 ай бұрын
