i cutted and used the screen from an old mobile phone, with the led and all reflective layers without the screen glass and it has light over all the tester screen
True, it will work better if you have an old phone screen. I think it gave very good results with just two LEDs.
Возьмите с колодки npn/pnp 3v 20mA
Npn/Pnp
❤❤❤❤
Very innovative and creative ❤
Might want to use a PTC fuse close to the cell, wrapped in heatshrink, for safety.
Can use a 7S nimh 9v battery (like EBL brand), buy 2 of them, keep one float charged at 1mA so they're ready to swap. Or just buy 1 of them, and use a USB input built in to the multimeter (as shown in video, but a booster supply instead of a charger) to go straight to a resistor (to limit current to 1mA) to the 7S 9v nimh battery, so that it can be charged when not in use. (Would take about 2 weeks to fully charge if flat, but nimh won't overcharge at this ~C/250 rate, hence also covering the issue of cell balancing.)
I hope you enjoyed the project! I'm waiting for your suggestions and comments.
Multimeter 9v batteries last a very looooong time. its pointless

In my opinion making shorts is the fastest way to gain subscribers. Think of it , but don't rely on shorts too much. You are making quality videos and you will succeed. I am confident in this 😊
I was also thinking of focusing on shorts for at least the first thousand. Thank you mate. I hope to catch your numbers one day :)
Using hydrogen peroxide and sunlight is the best method so far
Very good electronics work.
My friend I want to ask you what software are you using for making thumbnails and video editing. You are doing excellent job from your first videos. Your channel will get more views soon I promise you!
Hi my friend. I’m using photoshop for thumbnails, capcut for video editing. I hope so. Thank you for your comment. I needed motivation these days. 🙏
@@LifeHackTips101 Thanks for the update
@@LifeHackTips101 Believe me, we all feel this way from time to time. You are very good at what you are doing 😉
So cool 😎
Incredible idea 💡💯💯💯
Excellent ❤

What was the 2.2K resistor for? Thanks!
In order for the batteries to have a long life, it is necessary to charge them with a current value of approximately half of the battery capacity. So I changed resistor R3 to change the charging current.
Thank you very much@@LifeHackTips101
hi.switch?ON and OFF?????
This swithes are tactiles?
No they are not. These are micro mouse switch. You can find links in description.
why all this mess and you can buy the silent model of mx3 ?
I already own an mx master 3 and I didn't want to sell what I had and pay an extra amount of money to buy the silient version. This process can be applied to any mouse. Unfortunately, not every mouse has a silent version. But if you are going to buy a new mouse. You are right, you can pay attention to silent clicks.
@@LifeHackTips101 i know it was tutorial. but be carful of pads that cover the screws after you remove them you will lose them maybe you can find a replacement for them
I hope you enjoyed the upgrade! I'm waiting for your suggestions, comments and questions.

Muy buena idea años cambiando baterías... jajajaja 😅
Better to use 2S battery, with step up charger. Charging will go faster, with higher currents, and DCDC will be stopped when multimeter working.
Nice video 👍, i really like your working method 👍👍👍👍
Thank you for your feedback.
The idea is dope. Specially the fishing line part. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, for your feedback.
Red led is always on??
Gracias. Bendiciones
9 volt batteries are very low cost so the point of this conversion is what?
In my country a 9v battery is sold for the same price as this multimeter
@@LifeHackTips101 sure, and also BMS, LiIon Battery, Booster, glue, resistor, wires, solder, fishing rope and time are probably cheap there. Loved the video, thank you
What causes the red charging light to glow?
The one I have is the TP-4056 clone. The problem was solved with the TP-4056 I bought from a different place. There are so many clone TP-4056 in the market. You need to be careful when buying. Additionally, it would be logical to add a switch between the booster and TP-4056. When the multimeter is off, the booster consumes a little electricity.
0r just carry a spare 9v battery
Interesting project although picking a multimeter for this is an odd choice imo. Would love to see a electronic tootbrush get converted from NiMH to LiPo with charge limiting for practically unlimited battery lifetime.
@KingKong-mp6gj It's a really good idea. First of all, I need to find an electric toothbrush. I noted your suggestion. Thanks for your comment.👍
If the USB-C jack is galvanic isolated from the multi meter itself then this is a smart idea, but if not, then it is potential dangerous.
When I looked at the + and - leg of the multimeter from the USB jack with buzzer mode, I saw that there was no transmission. Do you think it is a sufficient test? Thank you for yor comment
@@LifeHackTips101 No it is not a sufficient test, but it is sort of a starting point. You need a second multimeter and measure resistance from any/all pins and the shield of the USB to all of the input jacks of the multimeter one by one, and do this at all positions of the rotary dial's positions of the multimeter under test. You can make a custom USB cable with all pins shorted and connected to the shield as one measuring point, and a other custom cable with all the jacks of the multimeter under test shorted as the other measuring point, that will save you a lot of time. In the real world you would make this isolation test with a isolation tester with a testing voltage of 500-1000 Volt, but it may fry your multimeter under test. Professional multimeter's with build in rechargeable battery's have either galvanic isolated in the charging circuit, or they are made so that you just can't use the instrument while charging, and there are damn good reasons for this, that reason is your safety.
@K2teknik. I will try the method you described with a second multimeter and a short-circuited type-c cable. Thanks for your information. I think thi test will be enough. I work with low voltage as a hobby and I don't want to fry my low-budget multimeter 😀 As you said, those who work with high voltages should prefer a more professional device. Have a nice day.
Battery must be drained because it is boosted all the time even if the multimeter is switched off, u better put a switch button outside for battery connected to step up module
Yes, you are absolutely right. I realized it two days later when the battery was exhausted. :) Thank you for your feedback.
