Two questions.....one, why did you make the stubs that go into the pockets of the sides of the truck smaller than the pockets? Two, why use (what looked like) sheetrock screws to screw through the plumber's tape that hold the assembly to the truck? Pretty cool either way, just curious

Thanks much. Watched the video. Made the bed. Have an old antique bedroom set with odd dimensions and was able to use this to make it usable.

Hi. This video was really helpful thank you. Is is possible if you could make a video o an auto retractable system as this would be even more useful as there aren't any other videos on youtube for this type of system. Thank you

You don’t even tell us the spacing between the pieces of wood… Neither does your instructables page. People also need to know the height to put the weight bearing 2x4.

Amazon bed. Looks so solid. I wonder if you would be better using bed brackets for the frame as they easily allow disassembly. As it stands your bed need to be unscrewed and re- screwed which will weaken the structure.

3:00 he says it will support a 100-foot hose (diameter?). I found in the instructable that it was loaded with 50’ of 3/8” but that it would also hold 100’, assuming that too would be a 3/8” hose. Great instructions on a project that could be used for many projects: electrical cords, water hoses, as well as air hoses.
