I’ve lived in Ky my whole life and I have never heard anyone call it red. Most people call it the gorge
A same you missed (outdoor free) Rainbow Hot Springs in the Nature preserve Pagosa Springs, CO
As a lifelong Kansas resident, I enjoyed chili with cinnamon rolls as part of school lunches growing up but I NEVER saw anyone put the cinnamon roll in the chili OR dip the cinnamon roll in chili!
🤷🏻♂️ thought it’d be fun
Why did you burn the wood bag?
Why not
@AdventuresofAplusK The bags are meant to be returned to the park so that others can use them as well. Normally, if you are on a back country site, they will go around and collect it after you check out. Just a tip for next time.
I see. Didn’t know that. Thanks
Holy corn y’all!! You deserve all the kudos for completing your 50th state with an insane achievement! We LOVED experiencing it right there with you and can’t wait for future travels together 😊 y’all were so real, not hiding just how tough this was 🎉 also was looking forward to the goats and they were sooo cute ❤ What state should we all ride across next ? 😂 Congrats!
Did you continue Due north to North Cape in Norway? Does the train continue north? Can you rent a car at Santa's village for the remaining 688 km ?
We unfortunately didn’t have time or budget to go to Norway on this trip. But it’s at the top of the list for next time! Not sure about the train and I’m sure you could rent a car there if you wanted
Loved your video. My wife and I moved from Tulsa to Austin in 06 and just moved back home in 2020. We loved Austin and always will but enjoyed the slower pace of life back home. Thank you for doing our home state justice.
Stumbled on your channel. Amazing content. My wife and I moved from Tulsa to Austin in '06 and spent 15 years down there. We loved it, but we're so excited to come back to Oklahoma. Great video!
This video was really awesome--I love the West and enjoy watching the adventures you share with us. Thank you. Stay safe.
Fry bread... Let's call it what it is... Food of Oppression.
Next time y’all are in Jersey hiking, make sure you carry bear spray.
Great video. What camera is that strapped to your shoulder strap? Keep on tracking.
There's a link to all our gear in the video description Thanks and thanks for watching!
What's the name of the Indian restaurant again? I'm enjoying your videos of South Dakota
Every place we visited is listed in the video description Thanks and thanks for watching!
Hey, my wife and I are fairly new subs ( in our mid 70's) and thoroughly enjoy your videos and we just bought 2 of your 'cool coffee cups to be delivered tomorrow! You work hard and play hard....Thank You both for sharing your fun with us!! Happy Trails!
That's so awesome! Thanks for watching and thanks for your support!
Amazing coverage of our beautiful province. 👏🏼👏🏼
How many days would you recommend to explore the areas you visited? I'm thinking of doing a late September road trip to Mt Rushmore. I also want to spend an extra day to explore other places.
Hey William! We have a guide on our website that details everything we did and where we visited with a 7 day itinerary plus ideas for more or less time. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
@@AdventuresofAplusK awesome that helps a lot thank you 🙂
Born and raised in South Jersey, we don’t mind people believing NJ is just the Turnpike, concrete jungle and beaches. We’re already full 😂
You're smelling sulfur. 🫧🤭🥚
Breckenridge offers free gondola rides
LOVE THIS !<3
While you were in Hutchinson, it's a shame you didn't visit the Cosmosphere. It's a Smithsonian Institution affiliate.
We were really hoping to, but as we mentioned in the video it was closed the one day we had to spend there
Awesome video as always. Have done the Big 5 but I want to see the State parks now. I use a lot of your recommendations in my own trip planning. You two rock!
That's awesome! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Excellent very high quality channel thanks!
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!

We definitely love traveling in the van as a family, but we'll for sure be sharing our international adventures as well. ☺
I just went a couple of days ago and was able to reach the Loch lake. It was a snowy lake and all the lakes were frozen. Which month was this recorded? I’d love to hike until Sky Pond.
Cool! This was early July
My home <3
Stunning episode! Just speechless. I counted the number of times Kathryn said “ oh my gosh”😂😂. Hats off to you guys for doing things out of your comfort zone. Very impressive.
Moonscape overlook was an out of body experience. Fantastic drone footage guys. So grateful to be watching all this through you♥️
haha it was wild and wonderful adventure! Thank you!
I like you guy's videos. Good job.
Grew up in Dartmouth my whole life but spent so much time in Halifax I knew every single street you were on haha loved the video. Cheers guys.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
One of these days my son and i might cross paths...you never know😊.
That would be fun! If you see us out and about definitely say hello!
Wow...and where are my tacos?? They look so Damn GOOD!
Beautiful. Thanks for letting me tag along.
Watch the movie "American Made" before going to Mena. it'll make your visit even more interesting
NL is a truly beautiful place !!
Tuyệt vời quá ,yêu video của 2 bạn
These are really splendid views from Marcy, especially of Haystack, the MacIntyre Range and the Great range. You had a very beautiful day. I climbed Marcy 6 times via the route you took, including Skylight on 5 of them. It is so much more interesting than the Van Hoevenberg trail, which we descended , except for the astonishing view at Indian Falls. We would swim in the Opalescent Brook on the way to Lake Tear. I always felt a chill at 4 corners. Back in the day ( 60's) there was a lean to there and never more than 10 cars in the Adirondack Loj parking lot.
Chili and Cinnamon Rolls was a highly anticipated and popular school lunch back in the 60’s. Cinnamon roll was 6 x 6 x 3 inches. Makes me hungry just thinking about them. Thanks for highlighting stops in Kansas. Please come back and see what else we have to offer.
We're craving it too! We loved Kansas and are excited to return one day!
Great video guys !! Malmö is a great city !! :) thanks
Doh! You missed Ledford arches!!! They are less than a 1/4 mile from the last large campsite you passed on your way to Hanson's. I have been going to the gorge for 30 plus years, never tried that restaurant but will def put it on my to do list next time Im in the area. Miguels pizza is phenomenal, put it on your bucket list if you ever go back
It’s tough to see and do it all 😅 We eyed Miguel’s, but Kathryn is mostly gluten free so that makes pizza places tough. We’ll be back!
@@AdventuresofAplusK I have never tried it so can't speak of how it tastes but they do have GF pizza and other food. My daughter is on a GF diet as well and always insists on going there after a hike in RRG
Yeah we've found some places that have solid GF dough, but most times it's just not worth it. But we'll definitely give it a shot if we find ourselves out there again!
Love the no drone zone respect. Thanks for noting that. Great video.
