CaseyHouse

CaseyHouse

In 1988, Casey House helped change the way the world saw people with AIDS as the first stand-alone HIV/AIDS facility in Canada, and first stand-alone hospice in Ontario.

More than 30 years later, Casey House is now a hospital unlike any other. A specialty hospital in Toronto, we provide ground-breaking care to people living with and at risk of HIV. Together with our clients, staff, peers and volunteers, we strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels safe. We offer a growing mix of inpatient and outpatient services that meet clients where they are in their individual journeys of health and wellness. Building on a legacy of advocacy and social justice, we actively dismantle barriers to care and safe living. We provide a community and sense of belonging that connects people to care. The humanity of each client is at the heart of everything we do.

Our purpose: Transform lives and health care through compassion and social justice.

This is fantastic!! A hug thank you to the staff running this service❤. It is desperately needed in hospitals everywhere because SO many patients leave without getting the care they desperately need because they need to use. At the very least, they could offer proper withdrawal treatment like Suboxone, but I haven’t seen that happening.

It’s the fear.. Most definitely. Education is where it’s at. I can remember it was like 1997 the first person I ever met With AIDS. I didn’t know anything about AIDS but at the same time there was no way. I was going to make him feel any type of uncomfortable. He was my bf’s cousin and he was so glad to meet me. He treated me almost like a super star. He was so happy to finally get to meet me. Such a nice gentleman! RIP David!! I wish I would have got to know him better. Im sure he was a fun person to hang out with. He sure knew how to make someone feel special. In such a short period of time.

Wow, great work; when I was watching tears coming from my eyes and thinking, this is true. There is a place where PLHIVs can spend time openly; it was my dream to make a space like a casyhouse in Pakistan, but I failed in 20211 but still running a support group with a large number of KP-PLHIVs who are also suffering from mental health issues due to the drug use and dependence with the lived experience, Thank you, donors, and supporters and workers who are making efforts for PLHIVs in Casyhouse. Casey House is my Dream.

I was once an HIV/AIDS patient. I contacted the virus about 6 years ago. There is this doctor i met online, this doctor has set a great turn around in my life which i will always live to remember. words can't explain the joy and happiness i have been having since i tested negative because, from the onset, i never believed the deadly virus has a cure. Well, i got some herbal medications from him which i used as he instructed, just about 9 days after then, i went for a test and i was HIV negative. Indeed, I got cured with the herbal medication. You can contact dr cozon on whatsapp or call on +13192094060 if you need him

Lets join hands together and eradicate HIV and HERPES from this planet earth. Anybody who still think there is no cure for hiv or herpes should deviate from it because a cure has been found by Dr Ehijator. He uses herbs to cure these diseases. I am a living testimony of Dr Ehijator, he use his herbal medicine to cure me from HIV and HERPES. I was infected with two difference diseases HIV and HERPES VIRUS which cost me my relationship and i could not bear the pains of living with the disease and loosing my boyfriend. So i went in search of getting the cure and i saw a comment on KZread on how Dr Ehijator uses his herbs to cure people of HIV and other diseases. I quickly contact him on the email that was present on the comment and told him about my illness and he prepare my medicine and send it to me through UPS service and he gave me instructions on how to take it and after i finish taking the herbs,i went to the hospital for checkup and behold the test shows that am HIV and HERPES negative. The doctors at the hospital rejoice with me and ask for Dr Ehijator contact. If you are in need of help to get the cure from Dr Ehijator, you can contact him on email: [email protected] or you can whatsapp him on +2349039447158 Dr Ehijator Can Also Cure The Fellowing Diseases. 1 Cancer of all kind 2 Hiv/aids 3 HSV1&2 4 Barrenness 5 Hpv 6 Herpes 7 Genital Wart 8 Rare disease 9 Hepatitis

HIV can't be spread through skin contact or saliva. Professional chefs know to sanitize and throw out anything if they accidentally cut themselves. HIV+ does not mean AIDS, which is the stage of HIV infection where someone might get sick from a disease we can normally fight off. Lastly, HIV transmission doesn't require risky behavior, just misinformation.
